We arrived at the Hotel mid afternoon and were immediately shown to our room, friends staying in two other rooms. We asked the gentleman on the desk if there was a time limit to what time we could be let in an he said that as long as we let him know he would wait up to let us in,... More

We stopped in here for some food and drink on a saturday lunchtime 2nd august. Car park only had 4 cars but inside it looked busy. We waited at a table for 15 mins but it was clear we would not get served that way. There were no menus on the table so i stood in a queue up to... More

We are sorry that when you visited our coaching inn, you were disappointed, and that our usual standards were not been met. Prior to your arrival we had a large group of walkers arrive for lunch, which were seated in the library. A number of factors such as a large group of 17 arriving unexpectantly, our printer breaking down, and... More

Walked in to a deserted open house. Checked in eventually with a rather grumpy old man who acted like we were more than an inconvenience. He didn't greet us and spoke only 3 words 'just one night'. When we returned from our night out we were completely locked out - we were not provided with a front door key, nor... More

Thank you so much for your constructive feedback and review of our family run hotel. We are sorry that upon arrival the hotel reception was unattended and that a rather grumpy old man eventually greeted you. My father aka the grumpy old man had received some very tragic news that weekend. It is unacceptable that he allowed that to interfere... More

Went here for a family meal and cant say i was that impressed. The place itself is nice enough but the service was very slow, it seemed like it was the girls first night maybe. Food was ok but nothing special, cant say that i would rush back again any time soon

We had a very comfortable stay, our room was lovely, the large corner bath was great. The hearty breakfast was a great start to each morning with a good choice of alternatives. Service was very good and staff very helpful. Hotel facilities were good and it is situated in a lovely setting. Thanks to Eileen & Lucy & other members... More

We stayed here for one night in June, and thought is was very comfortable and cosy. A beautiful, small hotel in the Cotswolds, watch your head in the rooms, though! There's nothing around the hotel so you need to drive to get anything. The staff and the bar are fantastic, best steak I've had in a long time, the sitting... More

We stayed here for one night; having read this place had been on the Hotel Inspector we were a little apprehensive to start with .... Upon arrival we were shown to our room which was very clean, light and spacious; the food looked good (although we didn't eat there as we had plans for the evening), the breakfast was good... More
