We had a conference here so I decided to stay in this hotel and concerning the fact that it is in Britian it was a great surprise. I had a pleasant stay in this silent hotel. The swimming pool and the sauna was fine. The room was clean, the furniture is up to date with no major damage and this... More

Booked a travelzoo deal to celebrate my sister's 60th birthday. The hotel was more modern and open plan than I had expected, but this was more than made up for by the rooms, facilities and, particularly, the exceptional service of all the staff. From the moment we checked in to when we checked out the staff were friendly, attentive and... More

A lovely hotel. Could not fault it! Excellent Q-star room. Brilliant staff. Good food .Would definitely stay again. Pool area was good too! Both evening meals were very relaxing . Breakfast service very efficient. Good bus service right outside the hotel.

Drab decor. Good reception staff. Stained bed throws and cushions. Nice white bedlinen but towels didn't look or smell clean. Wine glass smeared with lipstick and cups and cutlery at breakfast hadn't been washed properly and were encrusted with dried food. Our meals were mediocre at best. The pool area is lovely and the spa treatments would have been good... More

We stayed at this hotel for two nights as part of a larger group. We arrived well before 3pm and were glad to be able to check in early. The car park is spacious with plenty of room for all. Our room faced the car park and was near reception but at no time were we troubled by noise from... More

Room ok, décor a bit 90's needs an update. Good wifi signal in all areas. Breakfast buffet quality fairly average. Not the worst I've eaten. Bar slow but not as pricey as other chains. Public area toilets not well maintained and dirty.

We spent 2 nights here last weekends as part of a larger group, and were very impressed with the hotel. You know what you are getting at Q hotels, and this was no exception, with free wi-fi, large, comfortable, well-lit bedrooms with plenty of storage space and a large bed with spotless linen; a huge car park, professional local staff,... I wish the ratings were different as it's slightly better than 3* (average) but not good enough to rate 4* (very good). Nice room (loud doors though), good front desk service and lovely breakfast. Only slightly let down by bar staff who seemed young, a bit useless and lacking in customer service. Towels in the room could do with updating... More

We arrived at the hotel on Friday 20th March and we allocated room number 2 on the ground floor. The room was comfortably furnished and the bed large and comfortable. The reception staff were helpful and gave us a nice welcome. We decided to have lunch in the bar, we noticed that there were a lot of glasses on the... More

Good hotel, food, comfortable. Bar service a bit slow but hotel was busy. Ideal location to get to places surrounding without being in the bustle of Cheltenham itself. Took a taxi into town stress free, no parking space to fight for and excellent shops. Lovely spa! Going again for a weekend break in April.

Dear Jeanmartyn Thank you for your review and I am so pleased that you are returning to the Hotel in April for another stay. Cheltenham is a great town for shopping and for eating out etc in the evenings. We are also well placed to explore Historic Gloucester and the Gloucester Quays Outlet centre, again a taxi or bus ride... More
