The room is comfortable, the welcome friendly and with tv and free wifi both of which worked well. The breakfast is very good with fruit and cereal as well as a cooked breakfast. The location is good both for visitors to Cheltenham/Gloucester and particularly for me as I was starting a job on the business park. Prices are very reasonable.... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay. Roger and Sue made us feel very welcome. Our twin room was very comfortable. The beds are so comfy! Lots of very hot water in ensuite. Sue cooks a super breakfast which set us up for the day. The waiter( Roger) not bad either!!!! I certainly hope to return one day. Thank you... More

I planed to book a room in the b&b, with my one year old son and got told that Sue had a issue with my son sleep in the same bed with me (his mum) and that she could not accommodate us there, would not recommend this if you have a child

I am so glad we picked this guest house to stay. Sue and Roger were very welcoming and friendly. It was very comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was fantastic! A great choice of food and cooked just how you liked it! We will definitely go back. What was very interesting for us was the room we stayed in, my partner's... More

I am so happy that we got to stay at Oakfield Guest House. Sue and Roger are so nice and we felt right at home. Their home is pretty, comfortable and clean. My husband and I had the bedroom upstairs at the front of the house and had a beautiful view of the sun going down and the moon rising... More

Owners were very welcoming and pleasant. Since we were walking the Cotswold Way and the path is quite far away, Roger picked us up in Birdlip and transported us back again the following day. We ended up doing a picnic for our supper as dinner restaurant choices are few. Room was clean and comfortable. We also walked to the ruins... More

Stayed during cheltenham festival, Roger and Sue were great hosts, very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Room was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable with very nice view of the hills. Breakfast was cooked well with lots on offer and extra toast which went down well! The area is quiet with a carvery across the road and pub / resteraunt up the... More

We stayed 1 night at their B&B during our walk on the Cotswold Way. Sue & Roger are great hosts: Roger picked us up and dropped us off at the trail in nearby Birdlip, told some entertaining stories about the area including Cooper's Hill and the cheese rolling event, gave us suggestions for dinner, and Sue kindly did our laundry... Sue and Roger gave us the best welcome possible. Their tales and advice about the area were priceless. The five of us slept like babies and were offered each morning the best English Breaksfast. Nowhere can the Cheese Rolling be better apreciated. It felt like home and we are French!!!

Sue and Roger's B&B is pretty much the way a B&B should be. Small, clean, unobtrusive, competitively priced and with a great cooked breakfast. Rooms are en suite with TV, tea/coffee facilities, toiletries and free fast wifi. It's in a quiet district on the outskirts of Gloucester, equally handy for Cheltenham. Breakfast is cooked to order and accompanied, as is... More
