Me and my partner stayed here when visiting my sister and her partner whilst they were travelling Asia. It was the final stay of 2 weeks in India and provided a welcome relax before we headed home and we stayed for 3 nights. We all throughly enjoyed our stay. The family were lovely - it was very interesting to speak... More

Didn't like anything about this as our experience was pretty bad. Raining all day meant it resulted in dirty pathways and in return dirty rooms. Dining area is out in open which meant we didnt even have a dry seat to sit because of the rain. There was no electricity entire night, with a small child it was nightmare and... More

This place in the middle of the nature makes you forgetting anything. Rooms are nice, and environment is wonderful. The owners are very polite, helpful and good cookers. Bruno, the sweetest dog of India, will join you during a nice walk around. One day we will come back for sure to spend here more than one day!

we stayed here in March 2014, unfortunately just for one night. It's a place hard to find (you should have a driver who knows the area), but once you get out of the car, it gives you the feeling of tranquility straightaway. The owners are supernice, always open for random discussion, show you around their pepper/vanilla plantations, let you climb... More

The reviews say it all. For us the highlights were the badminton court, the fig tree full of flying frogs, the consistently delicious Keralan food and Hussein the family's driver and guide. Oh and Bruno the dog of course. Beena was unobtrusive but friendly and took us on an excellent night safari. Design of the building meant that fan was... More

After a hectic few days in the cities, it was a delight to escape the the peace and tranquility of Varnam! A truly picturesque homestay, with great host and wonderful food! This 8 acre organic farm had lots to offer, from good walks in the local area to night time safaris to look for those elusive animals. We managed to... More

Friendly and nice family, clean room, very good house made food, beautiful location, peaceful, the best experience in this kind of accommodation. Surrounded by the family plantation, the Wayanad WIldlife Sanctuary and not far from the Nagarhole National Park.

We had a lovely stay here, and actually ended up staying an extra day because we didn't want to leave! After travelling around south india this was a lovely break where we felt we were being looked after by our family. Great price considering 3 delicious meals a day were included. They grow a lot of spices that go in... More

Very homely place, great hosts, and nice homely food. There's nothing much that you can do at the property except rest an relax. You could probably take an evening walk in the fields. Kuruva island was good, though no wildlife sighted. Rooms felt a little warm.

I couldn't have asked for more. Totally comfortable, super-clean, pretty, relaxing AND fun. Three delicious meals a day AND the owners and their family are incredibly warm, fun, helpful and generous. Beena and Vargese do everything possible to ensure that guests are happy. If you want to be busy, they help you with suggestions and transport, or you can just... More
