The Wayanad District of Kerala is neither as well-known nor visited as other lush, hilly Kerala areas like Munnar. Its beauty and quietness makes it worth a visit. As in many parts of Kerala, roads are winding. (If you're prone to motion-sckness--premedicate!) Arrival to Pranavam makes the journey (in our case, from the coast at Kannur) worthwhile. We were warmly... More

Very comfortable accommodation amidst extremely courteous hosts. Home cooked food which was so tasty but vegetarian though. Close to many attractions that can be visited. Not too expensive. The hosts interact with you personally which gives a very homely feeling. Plantation was very informative.

It was the perfect unwinding experience. I have to say Mr.Ravindran and Shameer define hospitality and take homestays a notch above. Lovely plantations all around the property and the right balance of taste and health in the food. A light rain shower and it turns into heaven! Would definitely visit again :) Thanks for having us over!

We highly recommend this homestay. We especially remember the wonderful times we spent with our hosts Ravindran and Rema. There were many laughs with them! The meals were delicious with the ingredients being mostly sourced from their property. Ravindran and Rema were genuinely warm and made us feel very welcome. Anwer also helped make our stay comfortable and we enjoyed... More

Spent 3 wonderful nights at Pranavan homestay and it was a highlight of my time in Kerala. The rooms were amazing, split level, very comfortable and nestled within the peace of the beautiful spice plantation. The real highlight of the stay were the hosts though. We enjoyed delicious vegetarian food in their home and they were so welcoming and hospitable.... More

We were looking to escape the heat in Kerala's lowlands and found respite here. The setting around the plantation is lovely. Anwar who guided us on most of our walks around is a font of great information about the local plants and their uses. The two-level rooms are large and lovely with a nice balcony to sit on. The pure... More

This surely has to be one of our favourite places we stayed whilst backpacking around the Wayanad district. With it's lovely rooms looking out onto beautiful views of the surrounding coffee plantations and flora it really was a special place to relax, unwind and just be. Our hosts Ravi and Remi welcomed us into there home and introduced us to many... More

We spent 4 nights at Pranavam on our visit to Kerala. We had a great time here. The setting is fantastic in a lush plantation, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and Mrs Ravindran's cooking is absolutely delicious. We particularly appreciated the care and attention we received from Anwer who shared his knowledge of the plantation and the local area and... More

We stayed three nights whilst touring Kerala.Wayanad is a garden of eden and not too hot tin February although the climb to the Ejekel? Caves is best done early. Our accommodation was spacious with interesting decor, balcony and tea making facilities. The latter was unique among the five homestays on our trip! We enjoyed our meals, after eating local food...
