I can't understand why Le Gaudin does not have many Trip Advisor reviews.I found it through Alistair Sawday's site (http://www.sawdays.co.uk/accommodation/?countryColl=France) I stayed here for 5 nights at the very end of August with a friend, in two rooms and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. For about 75 euros per night including breakfast I thought it was very good value for the high... Fabulous stayed here on our way back to the ferry. Do not trust directions from Trip Advisor they are very wrong. We had booked for dinner and throughtly enjoyed a fabulously cooked meal with the other couple staying that evening. Breakfast the next morning was great. The rooms are very comfortable and large. Welcomed by the owner who looks after... More

I’d give this 6 stars if I could and I think we all would. We had the best time ever at Le Gaudin. We rented the entire place for a week to celebrate my husband’s 60th (now everyone knows!). It is the perfect venue for a house party and has 6 very comfortable and well-furnished en-suite bedrooms, sleeping a total... More

We were fortunate to be invited to join a group that had rented wonderful LeGaudin for exclusive hire for several weeks. Our 4-night stay in the Noir et Blanc room and in this beautiful restored home was a true journey into Suisse-Normandie life -- we felt as though we were living there, not simply visiting. LeGaudin is well situated to... More

We were here celebrating our friends birthday and it was the perfect place. The entire B & B was clean, cozy and inviting. The bedrooms were very comfortable and nicely decorated and all were en-suite. The grounds were so pastural and beautiful and there was a walking trail for those who like to hike. The kitchen was large enough so... More

We spent 5 days at Le Gaudin celebrating a friend's birthday and it could not have been better. The restored farmhouse is charming with all modern conveniences. Large bedrooms furnished comfortably; modern bathrooms; wonderful common spaces with lots of places to sit and cozy up with a book; knowledgeable and helpful innkeeper; lovely outdoors with sitting areas and walking trails.... We stayed at Le Gaudin for 10 nights. As there were three of us we booked The Bakehouse for two people and the third in The Farmhouse. Le Gaudin is situated in a peaceful rural location and the accommodation is spacious and clean. The Bakehouse has a private garden at the back in which we spent most evenings having a... More

I agree wholeheartedly with the previous reviewer. It's almost an understatement to call Le Gaudin a bed and breakfast. It's so much more than that. The owners have restored this farmhouse beautifully and it has a very relaxing and tranquil ambience. It is in a quiet location and you will need to be prepared to travel beyond the immediate vacinity... More

Just returned from a couple of months touring Europe in our motorhome. We decided as my birthday treat to stay somewhere really nice, so done a little research prior to travelling to find somewhere. Found the Le Gaudin website and the place looked lovely, but you can't always take that for granted, but after having spoke to the owners, it... More
