We stayed for 2 weeks at the Hotel Ca' Del Lupo in June. The situation of the hotel is perfect, overlooking hilltop villages, vineyards and,in the distance, the town of Alba. Immediately opposite is the hilltop village of Rodello, a 20 minute walk away. The similar village of Montelupo is a 20 minute walk in the other direction. An evening... More

After a crazy drive through the mountains we ended up here. Instantly in awe of the views and fresh mountain air - we were ushered into a modern yet cozy room overlooking a gorgeous landscape. I wish we stayed longer! Hope to be back soon! Cheers to the staff and owners! You made our Barolo experience better!

This amazing place with total guest focus was the base for our walking trip. The staff were unbelievable in their attention to make guests comfortable and the extras they gave were beyond expectation. The modern minimalistic hotel built just outside the quaint little hill top town Montelupo in Piedmont has every room facing the picture perfect countryside and two hilltop... More

Really enjoyed our stay here. We used it as a base for exploring Alba, Baroloa & Barbaresco. It was a great place, very tranquil, nice rooms and breathtaking views to boot. We didn't eat in the resto attached but loved the feel & service of the place. A bit of a pain to find, although more related to our poor... More

The rooms are surprisingly well conceived with separated dressing area and a balcony with view you wish you had at home. The breakfast is simply the best i had. It was hard to decide between the sesame or jam filled croissants, the fresh bread and jam selections, the cakes, the fruits, the quiches, the eggs...

Ca’ del lupo – hotelristorante, Piemonte (****) Situated in Montelupo Albese some 15 km:s from Alba a town with 30.000 inhabitants. The hotel is a split level structure on a hillside in a modern fastidious style with a pool at the bottom. The rooms are larger than usual, the interior style has the same token and is also elegant. Just got back from a week at this modern family run hotel set among the vineyards and hazel groves of this inspoilt and beautiful part of Italy. We were on a walking holiday. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. I have certain food allergies and the restaurant staff went out of their way to help. The... More

We just spent a week at this fun modern gem of a hotel in Piedmont as part of a walking vacation package. It was outstanding on many fronts. The hotel is very modern, so quite different than many Italian country hotels....it had modern plumbing and air conditioning that worked like ac in the US...it could get quite cold vs. some... More
