The cottage was superb, we had everything we needed and it was very affordable. The house was old, rustic yet up market and beautiful. Doggy friendly and good for families or big groups like ours. We would definitely go back. excellent base in the Cotswolds.

I stayed here for three terrifying nights. Each night there was a lot of creaking and thumping on the floor above my tiny room. Sort of like someone on a rocking chair and then walking around. Very "woman in black". When I asked the owner Nick what was going on he said there was no one upstairs. This was even... More

Well this a first! We have had well over 6000 guests stay in this room and never ever before have we heard a mention or hint from anyone of this before in this or any other of our rooms, must say though that we would be honoured to have Liz White come and stay with us! More

Our family of four (2 adults and 2 kids) stayed for 3 nights at the lovely Windy Ridge House in late July. This is a majestic house set just off the A424, very conveniently located from the picturesque villages of Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh. The owners Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Williams are wonderful hosts and the House is rightly known... More

The estate is huge, with well thought through landscaping, garden, rooms decorated with family history and personal touch. A very cozy and comfortable stay for couples to just chill, relax and cuddle. Location is central to both north and south of Cotswold, hence the convenience. The autumn colored leaves were amazingly beautiful!

We stayed at Windy Ridge House for 3 nights, we very much enjoyed the beautiful house and area, the cosy bedrooms and the lovely breakfast. Nick and the staff were very kind and helpful. Our three young children were made to feel very welcome too. We would definitely recommend this B&B. The only remark is that staying in two rooms... More

This place is a real gem of a find. Beautiful location and grounds and the house is like something out of a period drama! Nick is a great host and will go out of his way to make sure you have everything you need and is happy to arrange taxi's and offer recommendations for restaurants and local activities (try the... When we finally found the place it was delightful. A very large house and lovely grounds. It had a very quirky and different breakfast room but that added to the stay. The house looks old but it is not it is lived in and looked after by some very nice staff, friendly and happy to help. Go there you will... More

It is a great manson like in Agatha Christie detactive story. Very English, very posh, extremely beautiful. Just open the window in the morning and nice garnen is in front of you. Good breakfast in a hall with fountain. So, defibitely recommend. The only consideration is that it's away from the town center. Nevertheless, 7 minutes by taxi is not a... More

Perfect vacation. Great breakfast (yes maybe its not exactly at 8:45 but you had other food to be occupied with - and it was cooked fresh, really good quality). As with other reviews, the rooms might not be the most spacious (e.g. it was GBP 150 per night for 4 of us adults), but it was really good value if... More

The pictures looked promessing but the reality was far less. Stuff everywhere, small roomes (for so called King size de luxe-roomes),roomes were not clean (shower en floor) and the swimmingpool was not in use. The price of the room was outrages! The breakfast was lovely but served far to late at 08.45. All together it was like faded glory...

I don’t know why this lady did not ask about the swimming pool when she was with us and can’t understand how she can say that it was not in use as we have it open between 1st June to 31st August each year and it was most certainly used and enjoyed by other guests during the lovely weather we...
