We stayed at the Old Plough overnight. We could however see that the service and attention we received at the outset was going to be first class, and so it proved. Our hosts Sue and Haydn welcomed us with coffee which we needed after a long journey. The rooms were very comfortable and the Full English Breakfast was excellent.

Easily located and convenient location for the surrounding area. Friendly welcome and service. We stayed in the family room which was very clean and tidy and comfortable beds. Certainly the nicest bed and breakfast in this price range that I have stayed in recently. Clean accomodation with TV with freeview. Bathroom adequate with a shower that has room to move. Full english breakfast was perfectly cooked, also had other options such as scrambled egg on toast.

The property was a former pub, converted to a B&B, but still run by the original landlords. So they know the hospitality business well. Good clean rooms, breakfasts sourced from local produce. Lvely couple who were keen to please, very clean, decent breakfast and a lovely renovated building. Morning papers delivered would have been appreciated, nearest newsagent is over 3 miles away. No credit card facilities either and nearest cash is also 3 miles away.
