We stayed for one night in May 2012 as part of a cycling tour. The front of house chap could not have been more welcoming and our first impressions of the room were great. However ... 1. Room No.1 is right above the bar. OK if you intend on staying up past 11 pm, but not great after a long... More

Visited the EA yesterday with family and friends for Sunday lunch. Although we were an arranged 'late' sitting...everything was lovely and fresh and HOT!!...Good selection of starters...and cracking pork...with lovely crackling! An array of 'ales'...and they even managed a glass of Prosecco for me. Super atmosphere....and a place we certainly consider going back to plus an overnighter maybe as the... More

stayed here for two nights in april- a special treat for us. the setting is lovely and the pub very well thought out and nicely appointed- a good mix of old and new. friendly and helpful staff from the outset, and absolutely lovely (flagon) cider and (budding) beer. never tried them before but lovely stuff! very nice room too- again... Wow! We spent a wonderful evening in the EA on a busy Saturday night, unfortunately we were unable to book a table for dinner but thought we go along early and see if anything could be done. The bar man (a very funny Dutch man) could not have been friendlier or more helpful, on his recommendation we managed to make... More

This is a superb little country pub with great atmosphere,in an beautiful location in the Cotswolds. The food is very good and reasonably priced, and it also offers comfortable accommodation. If you fancy a quite break in lovely countryside, then look no further than the Ebrington Arms and the owners,Jim and Claire, will make you feel very welcome

If only all village pubs were like this! An absolute gem of not just the North Cotswolds but the entire country. It's always busy (do book so as not to be disappointed), recent renovations have made what was already a stunning building even more stunning - a beautiful garden, 5 rooms that you would expect from a boutique hotel, a... I was excited about coming to stay here for 2 things: 1) the fact that it's a very old inn (circa 1600s originally?) and 2) for the food that all seem to rave about. I'm a foodie so I sort of follow my stomach in most decision making. In both categories I was not disappointed. The EA is set in... More

My wife and I had dinner hear last night in the restaurant behind the pub. We didn't bother with starters as we had a late lunch. For main courses we had the lemon and thyme poussin (excellent) and the vegetarian Sunday roast (good). For desert we shared the sticky toffee pudding which was also excellent. I had a pint of... It is all about expectations isn’t it? We went to The Ebrington Arms with high expectations after receiving an email from Tripadvisor in which this pub was listed as one of the best gastro pubs in the UK. We adore the Cotswolds so jumped at the opportunity to stay there. We left wondering how on earth the Ebrington gained this... More

You could easily drive past the pub as it is discreetly nestled in the tiny village of Ebrington. Parking is a bit of nightmare, due to the tiny car park and narrow on-street parking availability, as you'd expect in a wee village. The pub dining is split between the bar and the restaurant. The food is fab and considering the... More
