We've just had a fabulous weekend at The Ebrington Arms - it was a significant weekend for us and The Ebrington Arms delivered in every way. Charming staff under Jim and Claire's management, top notch food (salmon Benedict for breakfast anyone?) and a perfect balance of sophistication allied to rustic charm. The only downside was that England lost to Ireland... More

We arrived on a cold day at the end of Jan 2015. Our room was very cold so we asked for additional blankets and was told by the barmen extra blankets were not available. The next morning the breakfast room was cold and the fire had not been lit. After breakfast we mentioned that the room was still very cold... More

My wife and I stayed in this excellent pub overnight. We ate in the restaurant and we found the food to be outstanding as was breakfast the following morning. Our room (4) was very nice but we could have done with another easy chair, apart from that all was A1 and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. In fact it... More

I had considered previous reviews and looked forward to experience the pub with my family over half term. We have just returned home after a lovely week in the Cotswolds and staying in a cottage in Ebrington. The Ebrington Arms is up with the best pubs we have experienced, the food was lovely and well presented. Not cheap but you pay... More

We have stayed in the village for the February half term at Oakham House. I was pleased to see that the Ebrington Arms was in the good beer guide. Having read reviews on trip advisor I was fascinated as to what kind of experience we would have. I have to say it was entirely pleasant. We arrived as a noisy... More

This place is operating more of a bar/ restaurant for locals. Less interest in staying guests. Dont find ways to resolve issues to guest's satisfaction. Make excuses and don't appologise. Poor communications.

We are staying in the village and visited the pub for lunch and a couple ( read few) pints on 6 Jan. The pub, the service, the food and the beer were all first rate. We were most impressed with the friendliness of the owner and his staff. So pleased were we with the whole experience, we have our son and... More

Our stay at Ebrington Arms was 'schizophrenic'. Some Positives but totally outweighed by a disrespectful owner who was disinterested in the happiness of his guests. The end result was we checked out a day early of a 3-day stay (even though it was New Year’s Day and the day after our engagement!). On a positive note: The check-in experience, room... More

Oh dear. My husband would have apologised had you not continued to be so beastly in the morning after spending the whole night being horrible to staff. We had nearly 100 happy guests that evening who all had a great time once you went to bed at ten o clock. And the guests whose table you left before your pudding... More

Stayed in room three. Require bathroom work, Entrance step is broken and dangerous, managed to bruise toe visiting at night. Also has no shaver outlet nor in room. Bed was comfortable but extra duvet was required as room very cold when heating turned off. Food was average as expected, staff were excellent.

We stayed the night and had dinner at the Ebrington and we found everything extremely good. From the welcoming decanter of sherry in the beautifully furnished room to the delicious home made bread with dinner we could find no fault. The food was well cooked and plentiful and the accompanying wine and beer of high standard. Whilst the Ebrington is... More
