Stayed here for the last few weeks due to work, Can't book in till after 5 because it is a pub but that's not a problem, booking in easy, rooms clean and comfortable and en-suit, food is well priced and enjoyable. Owners and staff very nice and friendly, although it's on a busy road it doesn't keep you awake at... More

Staff very nice. Room not very good. One cup for two people. Can only get the fan to work if the light is on - not helpful on a hot night. Facilities generally poor for the price - 3am in the morning and am writing this review. Last orders for food at 5pm.

Travelling north and looking for a couple of nights accommodation we used The Friar Tucks on the edge of Gloucester. A comfy family room with small ensuite. Bar selling a good range of reasonably priced food.

This is a pub with rooms above so don't expect it to be a quiet stay. Having said that the landlord was great and very helpful. Rooms are basic but clean. Beds were a little uncomfortable and the room was small. Take your own toiletries as non supplied not even bar of soap.

We stayed here for one night when attending a family party in Quedgely. This pub was within walking distance so the location was ideal. We had two single rooms. The pub is a typical local and therefore if you are looking for a quiet country retreat it would not be for you. It is also on a main road so... More

This is a classic English pub with food that's very good value for money and rooms that are exactly what one should expect in an English pub. They advertise clearly no breakfast so you cannot complain about that. They advertise live football so expect that to be on when there is a match -perfect as far as I am concerned.... More

Have just got to grips with Trip Advisor so this is new to me!Firstly, I would like to apologise that you seem to have had this experience with us.I have been at the Friars since 2010 and unfortunately we have never served breakfast and this is always explained to guests as far as I am aware. However, we do now... More
