Following a friends recommendation we decided to have such at the Masons Arms, and were delighted with the high standard of both the food on offer and the service. Although it was initially quiet when we first arrived, within half an hour or so other diners soon arrived who appeared to be regular customers, and understandably too. My fillet open... More

Just visited for a meal with our dog and wow, what a treat! Wish we had been before. The atmosphere and decor were gorgeous and the log fire & wood burner made it Cosy. The wine was perfectly chilled and the food was simply divine! It all tasted so 'clean' - very high quality, but a great price! The service... More

We were a large party for Boxing Day, and had an excellent lunch. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The menu was well-balanced with a good choice, and the food was delicious. It had been newly refurbished, and the decor was very nice and sympathetic to the age of the building, which is a typical old Cotswold stone pub.... More

Lovely old pub. Beautifully presented. Relaxed, friendly, went for group lunch stayed until 4pm with nobody trying to get rid of us. Lovely food. Try the soufflé starter, superb. Next time may have it as a main with some salad. So more room for pud.Worth a trip out.

I stayed here with my girlfriend and my brother and cousin took other rooms. We were unfortunately in the area for a family funeral but the welcome and service at the Masons Arms life our spirits immeasurably. One of our party was delayed leaving London and the landlady Gill was kind enough to stay up and tend bar for us... More

I pop in once or twice a week when I'm working in Meysey Hampton as a treat for lunch. It's been recently refurbished and extended to a high quality finish. The staff are all very friendly and genuinely seem to love working there, I'm not surprised it has a lovely atmosphere and the food is affordable and very tasty! Can't... More

This lovely pub has undergone extensive renovation, however it seems to have retained its warm friendly atmosphere thanks to all the staff. It was nice to be treated as a special guest and nothing was to much trouble. Though the evening menu is not extensive the quality is first class and my wife and I would highly recommend the savoury... More

Very good food in a bustling local village pub which has just been refurbished to a high standard. The pub team are welcoming and friendly and eager to serve. There is a very friendly atmosphere and we had good food in the comfortable restaurant. Although we thought there was a limited menu choice the fish cakes and bavette steak we... More

My friend who lives near this pub suggested we had an early dinner here whilst I was visiting her for a few days. Not sure why she's not taken me before (wanted to keep it to herself I think!). On entering.......Cotswold coloured painted walls (grey, green, stone), a roaring log fire set in a large fireplace and a warmth from... More

We stayed over a weekend. The owners have and continue to renovate this country pub with accommodation and deserve recognition for the improvements in place. The bedrooms do vary slightly in size although they all retain their character, whilst having been tastefully decorated with comfortable beds and modern en suite facilities. There is some background noise from the pub downstairs,... More
