Stayed here last month and came back for another night! The owners Mark and Jules give such a warm welcome. Lovely, cosy room with comfy bed, in a gorgeous old pub with open fire. It's a real treat to wake up to birdsong and no other noise. The full english breakfast is enormous and delicious! We'll be back!

We spent 2 nights at this amazing little find not far from circencester. Immediately we arrived we were made to feel welcome. The room and bed was cosy, comfortable and warm as when we were there it was cold. The heating was certainly welcome. Now to the food. Roman cooked great breakfasts and dinners by the crackling fire were terrific. The... More

Usually book a Premier Inn when going to football matches but there was none in the vicinity. Looked on late rooms .com and discovered this lovely country pub/hotel. We stayed for two nights and everything was brill. When they say a big English breakfast - they mean it! Staff were very welcoming and friendly and my husband even managed to... More

We booked this lovely B&B for our 5th Wedding Anniversary, and was not disappointed. The pub is in a small village in the Cotswold, and is perfect for exploring the area and not far from Oxford too. The rooms are very tastefully decorated, with comfy beds and lovely little quirks. We had brought a bottle of champagne with us, and... More

I thought long and hard about this review and have decided to break it into 4 area's, people, accommodation, food & finally the local area. I travel throughout the UK and Europe regularly on business and choose where possible to try local pubs/inns instead of the huge corporate hotel chains, this is totally out of choice and based on some... I met friends for Sunday lunch at the pub. We reserved for 1:00, but arrived half an hour early. This was no problem at all, everything was ready, they were completely organized, we had a lovely spot by the fireplace on a cold and rainy day. The food was excellent, the service was excellent, it was a great choice!

Spent three days staying at this lovely pub, just a short drive from Cirencester. Sadly the weather was very wet and miserable but was more than made up for by the warm welcome and excellent food on offer at The Masons Arms. Huge breakfasts meant we really did need much for lunch - only had to look forward to dinner. Our... More

We stayed for one night as we went to a wedding at nearby Cripps Barn. We were able to check into our room early which was really useful. The room was on the small side but had a lovely sleigh bed with nice crisp white sheets, the shower room was fine but not much water pressure in the shower. We... More

Thanks both for taking the trouble to write a review. I am glad you enjoyed your stay. I must apologise about the flies, we are not sure how they were missed, we do our upmost to ensure the window sills are kept clean and we did find a few tucked away. Rest assured this would not be a future issue.... More

We selfishly don't tell anyone how great this pub is because we don't want anyone to follow us here. Mark, Jules and Trogg cannot make you feel more welcome if they tried. Great people, great food and great accommodation. Highly recommended.
