Couldn't recommend the royal phuket yacht club in Nai Harn more. We went there for our honeymoon and it was the most perfect place! The surroundings were very romantic, staff very friendly and the beach stunning. On the southern tip of Phuket island it's a perfect place to get away from all the hustle and bustle that Thailand offers elsewhere.... More

Despite what I thought after our last visit, that it would be our "last visit", given my mother's dementia, we felt that going back to the Royal Phuket Yacht Club would be best for her. Let's be honest, my expectations were low, but there is hope for the "old lady" (that's what our family lovingly calls this place after 14+... More

We stayed when it was still under the Royal Meridien brand, but it was an excellent stay. Nice private beach, excellent views, friendly staff, all rooms with sea views, good food, quiet and relaxing. Also had Merc S-Classes for going to play tennis near by and Range Rovers to rent to visit Phuket and other tourist spots. It's a long... More

The Yacht club is one of the older hotels that brings all the charm and relaxed pace of a bygone age to at an island that is developing at breakneck pace. We have stayed here before and I am pleased to say it is just the same as last time. The staff were friendly and helpful, the spaces; both hotel... More

Checked out yesterday after spending 3 days here. Good points first: The location and facing is excellent, beautiful views, lovely pool deck and terrace below with views over the sea, beach is just downstairs and has a roped off safe swimming area. Rooms are large with good bathrooms and lovely private balconies with reclining chairs. Staff are helpful. Perfect for... More

We live in Bangkok and have stayed at this hotel many times, going back to 2002. We have just spent another 6 nights there, and were very happy to be back. The staff as usual were charming and helpful - one of the great pleasures of good hotels in Thailand. The hotel is quite intimate, unlike a big resort. The... More

Just came back on March 15, sublime ocean view and great terrace in room 403, room charming in colonial style but a bit tired with stained carpet and old bathroom tiles. Room service is perfect, bedding impeccable but all other hotel staff helpless, reception doesn't even have the weather forecast and restaurant so/so except for breakfast buffet that is wonderful.... Stayed here for about a week in November 2011. The room we stayed in had a large balcony, good size room, the bathroom was lovely. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was amazing with nice views of the bay. The beach was easily accessed from steps in front of the hotel. There are lots of good local places to... More

In order to enjoy this beautiful, atmospheric hotel, you may want to forget about the star ratings. It isn't a perfect 5-star hotel but it IS one of the nicest places you can stay in Phuket, if what you are looking for is an "anti-Patong" hotel, "anti-Patong" beach and "anti-Patong" crowd. Great breakfast, beautiful views, friendly staff and a very... More
