Stayed here just one night with a work colleague. Staff were friendly, but a bit slow at reception. Room is standard and bed is standard, but bathroom is really lacking. Just a leaky hand-held shower with little water pressure, and the temperature alternated from cold to scalding. No water in the sink. Had to laugh when I finally jumped into... More

i have been to several hotels in Lagos but what makes me like elomaz hotel is that they know how to serve there customer in time without any delays and things weren't overpriced as they generally are, from hotel rooms to foods to car-hire, Bear in mind that you can't compare Nigerian hotels with Western ones. Elomaz is situated in... More

Bear in mind that you can't compare Nigerian hotels with Western ones. Elomaz is situated in a safe area. Our suite wasn't spotlessly clean but was ok. What I appreciated most was the fact that things weren't overpriced as they generally are, from hotel rooms to foods to car-hire (be sure to negotiate when you can). African foods are well... More

My hosts in Lagos had booked me in here. On arrival the place looked ok from the outside but that's the best you will see about the place. Almost everything from there was just BAD. a) The first room to which they took me was a room on which someone else had slept in the bed and the sheets had... More

If you find a better place in Lagos.. on Victoria Island.. please stay there.. This Hotel rooms are bad, smell foul.. I stayed here for 3 nights, the beds are hard, unclean... (they claim the sheets are changed everyday- But seems like the sheets were not washed)... The shower had no holder... Overall this was not at all a good... More

I read with some amusement, the ratings (or is that rantings?) of other guests. By Nigerian standards, this place is paradise without paying silly money at the likes of Protea. I am a frequent business traveller to Nigeria and they simply don't do western style hospitality in most of the country so to have something approaching this here was wonderful... More

I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. The beds are hard, showers dirty and rickety, service non-existent, your safety is at risk and the manager is a crook. My company called the hotel to arrange an early check in and they said it was fine. I got there and of course it was not fine. On enquiry... More

my fiancee and I stayed at this hotel on a recent visit to Lagos. For its location on the mainland, I felt from the outset that it was a bit pricey but was prepared to give benefit of the doubt. On arrival, the general appearance was fine and the reception staff were polite and helpful enough. However, our room, a... More

Rather quiet hotel next door to a much more expensive Protea Hotel in Ikeja. Minimal security. Lobby very low ceilinged and rather unwelcoming , also reception staff. Yet again another cash only establshment. But rooms very large and quite nice although Ihad problems in conecting to wi fi ( these were resolved by staff). Did not get opportunity to sample... More
