This is the second/third time I have visited with friends. Each time I have stayed in the loft. Sue and Paul are fantastic hosts and nothing is to much trouble for them and you leave feeling you have made two new friends. I have always paid the difference and had breakfast in the main house as their are normally couple... More

This is our first trip abroad and found this perfect little escape from a local couple. Paul and Sue made us feel at home right away awere very helpful with questions we had about the area. My husband and I would definitely recommend this B&B if you are ever in the area!

Second visit to sue and Paul this time by car, previous visit on motorcycle. Ideal position for our visit for the battlefields of world war one Both occasions we were greeted with a very warm welcome, made to feel so much at home. The room we had was extremely comfortable, coffee and kettle in room, en suite excellent. Sue and... More

This stay was fantastic! Sue & Paul who run this place run it for you, so that you can enjoy yourself without to much fuss. The rooms are clean and smart and all bed linen is fresh and clean. Breakfast is served in the main house and is traditional European with plenty of choice. The club house is great if... More

Lovely place to stay, Sue and Paul have created something quite special there. Very secure bike parking, the warm welcome and the perfectly adequate facilities in the Hayloft make this a must if you are looking for a stopover or want to see more of this lovely part of France.

Sue and Paul have created a great place for bikers, and other of course, stay on the edge of this small town. I stayed in the Loft, which is an ideal base for exploring the local area or further afield as it is easy to access a lot of places from there. The facilities are just what you need, and... More

Sue and Paul are the nicest couple you would want to meet and I really enjoyed my stay. The rooms vary and some have shared bathrooms, so not the Ritz but a friendly, homely place with very secure parking.

Straight upon arrival to this spectacular retreat, we received the warmest of welcomes and a cold beer. Exactly what every biker needs after a days haul. Sue and Paul who run Les Ballastieres are the loveliest people you could meet and have hearts of gold. Their knowledge of the area and things to do is second to none. We stayed... More

A wonderful stay with Sue and Paul. A warm friendly welcome., offered a beer/wine before we'd even had a chance to unpack! Beautiful setting, but walking distance to town, bars restaurants etc. Paul even repaired someone's scooter -hows that for service! The drying facilities were much appreciated as we got caught in a "shower". Plentiful breakfast, with lovely home made jam.... More

We stayed in "The Old Forge" for a week with our 5&7 year old boys and for us it was perfect. We wanted something with self catering facilities as our children are still a bit picky and as we were travelling on the ferry it was no problem to take a bag of "staples" with us. We were greeted warmly... More
