We liked the location of the hotel becuase it wasn't in conjested Cancun. I liked the fact the hotel was north in Playa Mujeres. The resort was just opened in November 2007 and is in immaculate condition. It's approximately a 30 minute ride north of the Cancun Airport. It sits on a secluded beach and approximately 4 or 5 miles accross a channel from La Isla Mujeres which you can easliy see from the beach. The service there was exceptional. I stayed at EPM... more

We have been traveling to Cancun and the Rivera Maya for the last 11 years. We have always stayed at one of the Palace Resorts. We were at Excellence Nov. 11-15.
