It was an enjoyable and memorable experience staying here. The room was extremely comfortable and well presented, with garden, pool and lounge for those staying. But the best part of the experience was the very warm and generous welcome from Martine and Jean-Marie. The evening meal was like a relaxed dinner party with friends. There is also some very beautiful... More

Our room was tastefully furnished with a comfy bed, although the room was adequate is was slightly smaller than other places we stayed. The gardens were lovely and Marine and Jean Marie worked hard to keep them... More

Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable hosts, delicious breakfasts with local produce. Very reasonable prices compared to Montpelier accommodation. We were spoiled. M LeBrun came and collected us from the stop of Montpelier tram which made it all very convenient. Beautiful area,... More

We arrived after a long journey to a welcome cool drinks on the terrace with our hosts. The house is fascinating architecturally with a huge collection of music, a library and a piano. We arrived and were greeted by the ever so charming Martine and Jean-Marie. A very clean room awaited us, and what a comfortable bed. I live in Versailles but was taking my mum who was visiting from Australia for a quick trip around France. I was so grateful to come across La Soucarède. They showed my mum the true warmth... More
