Yes the dogs do bark, but dogs do, did not keep us awake, charming location and accomodation, definitely value for money, lovely lady owner, relaxed continental breakfast, super hot power shower and very comfortable beds

It is always gratifying to receive a favourable review, and I am glad that these guests enjoyed their stay. I think the neighbour's dogs may be territorial, and sometimes overdo their guarding duties. More

We arrived expecting a cot for my granddaughter aged 5 mths which we had asked for and been assured the night before would be available. an eldelry lady told us she had no knowledge of this and they didn't normally "do babies" and could the child not sleep in a drawer or on a mattress on the floor. This review stemmed from the perceived cot issue. Although I do welcome babies, I do not provide equipment for babies, and have never been asked to do so. Parents prefer, I think, to travel with their own. I did not state that a cot would be available, and it would be pointless and ridiculous for me to do so as... More

Met on our arrival by the barking of the neighbours dogs, which continued for most of our stay (although silent overnight). The room was in a dark corner of the property and smelt a bit musty.
