Spent one night in La Maison Blanche prior to beginning a walk along Cote d'Opale coastal path. Could not be more convenient for picking up the trail at the western end of Sangatte. The self- contained apartment was clean and just a few minutes walk from the beach. Would make an ideal small apartment for anyone wanting a beach holiday.... More

This lovely guest house is directly across from the incredible beach at Sangatte. It is clean, comfortable, and incredibly peaceful. We stayed here two separate occasions, each time in an upper unit. Open the window and you will hear the rush of the sea! If you feel the need to connect with civilization, Cite Europe is not far at all,... More

Stayed here overnight on the way to the UK. It was very easy to find and the prices were very reasonable. The room was located on the second floor and taking a dog was no issue. The room was clean and spacious and at the side of the hotel overlooking the main road. There was a little noise from the... More

Apart from a good location and comfortable stay - the hospitality offered by the hotel is very homely. The reception and house keeping are all very friendly. A must stay for beach family holiday or a night over to and from the calais- UK ferry.

Sangatte is a small village situated on the seaside but apparently not popular amongst tourists. The beach is several minutes away - it is a "wild" beach, i.e. you can just walk there, look to the sea and relax. The owners apparently have several properties in the area. The one is Sangatte is composed of several small buildings. You can... More

This was the last night of our touring holiday and we wanted to stay somewhere near to the Calais ferry and (importantly!) within walking distance of our favourite restaurant in Sangatte. This hotel seemed ideally placed. To summon the receptionist you have to use the handily placed telephone. After a few minutes a young man arrived with his cycling gear... More

Very kind personnel, easy to find, mediocre breakfast, worn out furniture - that's about it, actually. There's no elevator, the hotel has it's best time. No style at all.

We booked this hotel as our regular hotel would not accept a third child. We arrived extremely late, about 2 am, due to problem in the Tunnel. The gentlemen who was there on arrival was brilliant. It was 2 am and very cold and he came out, walked us to the room, even showed us inside everything we needed to... More
