We stayed here in November of 2010, and had a really terrific time. All the other reviews say much of what I would say -- Florencia took care of many details, including getting us there. everyone we interacted w/ was kind and interesting. We enjoyed the rides, even w/ some extra adventures. The food was very good, and the grill... More

Excellent Food and meat. A house that oozes a nostalgic English Tradition (see the very nice library) a sort of longing for Argentina's good ol' times. A way to understand Argentina's evolution from the inside. Also a beautiful place, full of pets and horses. Nice rides, good way to disconnect. View of the a family of birds slowly waking up... More

Estancia Juan Geronimo is one of the old grand estancias built during the time when Argentina was a rising economic power. There are a huge number of different facilities located in the grounds of the estancia that add unique historic perspective to any visit. Florencia, the host, is accomplished at narrating the past history, which is really fascinating when combined... More

On a brief trip to Argentina in November 2010 with two friends, we chose the Estancia based largely on TripAdvisor reviews - and was not disappointed! Our main goals were relaxation, beautiful natural surroundings, and an experience that felt authentic rather than touristy. Juan Geronimo delivered on all fronts. Owner Florencia immediately made us feel welcome upon arrival after a... More

We spent 2 nights at the estancia leaving from BA and using Mr. Silve's taxi service. It was very good value- he picked us up and arranged a further taxi from Veronica to the estancia. The house is beautiful with lovely scenery and large well kept rooms. The 3 labradors (Tommy, Tina and Pastor) were there to greet us with... More

There has already been so many positive things said about the Estancia Juan Geronimo, but I must add more praise for this wonderful place. We stayed for two nights along with our twenty-year-old daughter. We immediately fell in love with the three labradors that live on the estancia. They greeted us with love and accompanied us everywhere we went--on walks,... More

Juan Geronimo was one of the highest rated and best reviews hotels we have come across on Trip Advisor and it lived up to the high praise! Just as the description of it says, it is off the beaten path and truly unique. We rented a car in Buenos Aires and drove the two and a half hours to the... More

We travel to Argentina every July and have visited Juan Geronimo ten times (yep!) already. We started when the kids were a toddler and a small girl, now they are teens and still love it and look forward to our annual visit. The place is beautiful and there are plenty of things to do, even in the winter, for both... More

Put simply Juan Geronimo was perfect. I came here with a group of friends looking for a relaxing few days. The setting is amazing - the colonial cottage, the grounds, the lake in the back of the house - quite astonishing. The food was excellent as well. Make sure you sample an asado or two while you are there. Everything... More
