Great little spa hotel with only about 16 rooms, Just had recent facelift. Nice gardens and settings, with good staff. Restaurant reasonable only and resort is about 1-2 km from other restaurants /beach.

On arrival we got a really warm welcome from Tanya and the others, we were given a lovely cool drink whilst we checked in. The surroundings here are beautiful, the reception and dinning areas are surrounded by pools of water with wooden walk ways. At nights you can hear frogs calling. The room we stayed in was a really good... More

Appeared charming location with bungalows around pool area. Rooms clean and and starightforward although i would not say its 4 star.Staff and owner very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a little bit limited in choice. Location was a bit far from things and you do need transport. Whilst the beach is a good 10 minute walk away the bars are... More

Although I loved staying at the poolside villas before I have to reconsider after trying to find the resort through their online website to book for our stay there this year. It seems the resort has changed management and behold it is now Anchan Boutique resort and spa. And to go with the boutique name change the prices have doubled... More

We arrived at Anchan late at night after a last minute booking. We were greeted at reception and provided with a complimentary cold glass of juice, with was unexpected and very welcome considering we had just gotten off a flight. The hostess (who is also the owner) hadn't received our booking request at the time but she was immediately able... More

we were rather disappointed when we arrived at the resort lobby which is definitely not impressive as suggested as a Luxury Villa... We asked for motorbike rental at the resort as it seems to be way off any main roads. Good thing was the receptionist gave us a discount only after we asked for it. When we were ushered to... More

We were totally disappointed by what we saw when we arrived at Anchan Resort as we took quite a long time to search for this hotel. It is hidden in a no-man land all the way into a small lane, with some buffalos roaming outside a small village. The hotel photos on web were just too beautifully taken by a... More
