The check-in was "slightly" dissappointing. As a member of SLH club I booked a Palm room with complimentary upgrade upon check-in. The issue of upgrading was not raised during the check-in until I mentioned it - the receptionist checked the availability of rooms and said "Yes, you can upgrade to Grand Palm but must pay 1000 Bt more". As soon as we got there we were greeted warmly and had complimentary jet lag massages ( which were amazing!). Chocolates were left on our bed every ngith and the room was cleaned spotless twice a day! Fantastic breakfasts (even had don perignon for free for breakfast with srawberries). I have been to Phuket before and was considering the Chedi as the resort is very quiet and private.
