We stayed in the Yurt at Westland Farm from Fri 21 to Sun 23 June 2014 inclusive. We had an absolutely fantastic time and made full use of all the facilities the Yurt and Westland farm has to offer. It is the perfect place to sit by the fire pit whilst stargazing or to relax inside the Yurt by the... More

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Westland Farm during half term. Such a laid back and relaxing location our 3 children (10, 7 and 5) just went off around the farm, mainly found to be by Billy the horse. Our dog was free to run around too as there were not many other campers. If you like back... More

Fantastic location and facilities. Had a perfect 4 days at Westland Farm with my family for my Sister's wedding! Nothing was too much trouble for Nicky and Andy who also looked after my 87 year old Dad in the B & B in the farm house. 5 of us stayed in our caravan - great level pitch with hook up... More

We had stayed at the Shepherd's Hut 3 times before falling in love with it so much we decided to get married there! Nicky and Andy were very supportive and enthusiastic of our plans and we held our festival style wedding there on May 3rd. They were incredibly helpful, as was Terry at the local Bess Hill Farm Shop, who... More

We stayed in the shephard hut for Easter 2014, not only did we have beautiful weather, but we had such a lovely time at Westland Farm. It's such a friendly place to stay, and the hut itself was perfect for us, esp as they allow dogs. Wish we could have stayed longer, will definitely be returning

When my husband suggested we do back to basics camping, I was not particularly keen. My idea of camping is a static caravan!! I actually had a fab two days, I loved the evenings by the camp fire, the toilets and shower were cleaner than many other non-basic campsites I've stayed on. Being able to collect fresh eggs and stroke... More

We went on a last minute camping trip with relatives who had met Andy and Nicky before. I was expecting something REALLY basic, but this was so much better! The facilities were very clean, fully functionning and the two loos and shower were more than adequate for wild camping. What was a great added extra were the chickens for fresh... More

We stayed at Westland Farm this weekend for 2 nights in the yurt and had an absolutely lovely time. The yurt is gorgeous and really comfy - the bed was really cozy and there is a wood burner for if it gets chilly outside - it was really warm for our stay but we lit it anyway which made it... More

We had planned to go away in our tent, with another couple in a caravan and we wanted to be next to each other. We were booked in for 10 nights on a fully serviced pitch in our tent. We had asked on the phone if it was a quiet site and were told by the owner that it was... More

Nicky C, Owner at Westland Farm, responded to this review

When your father phoned to book a tent pitch for you next to his caravan on the Caravan Club site. I did explain that the site was set up for caravan use only and much, much closer to the road than our camping field, yurt and shepherd hut. Before you and your father paid. I offered a site for you... More
