We have stayed at Haxton Down several times and cannot recommend it highly enough. It is a real home away from home. This is a great place to get away from it all and Pat is the perfect host and superb cook. Evening meals are a must.

Haxton Down is located deep in the North Devon countryside, a perfect retreat for anybody who loves peace and quiet.
The accomodation at this working farm was very competitively priced and while it could not be described as immaculate, it was on the whole clean, tidy and perfectly acceptable.
The highlight of a week long holiday enjoyed by my wife...
