We were very disappointed , we were led to believe a cooked breakfast would be available at an extra cost if booked in advance. When requested the morning before, we were told it was the end of the season ! You can imagine our surprise when we arrived to find the property in close proximity to a Spar shop !...... More

The positive reviews that led me to book here seem to be very different to my own experience which was most unwelcoming to the point of unkindness. Despite full English breakfasts being advertised as available if booked in advance our request was refused due to it being the end of the season and the actual breakfast provided was most inadequate... We were very disappointed with our stay, having read mostly good reviews. After an 80km bike ride we were 'greeted' by Linda with a very unfriendly, "you've come to the wrong entrance". We had tried to preorder a cooked breakfast the morning before ( as offered on the website) but were told this wasn't available because it was the end... More

A cute and relaxing B&B with great hostess and amazingly beautiful back yard with flowers and more. The traditional continental breakfast was adequate, and they did provide gluten free bread when ordered ahead of time.

We really enjoyed our stay with Linda. After a long days cycle it was wonderful to sit in her beautiful garden with a cup of tea & watch the fish rise! Excellent rooms & a very good breakfast. Linda was extremely helpful with local knowledge & advice. Highly recommended.

We arrived at Ty Aven early afternoon, unloaded the car and were shown to a lovely clean room with a proper en-suite bathroom, not a pokey little cabinet, quite a relief as I am a big bloke. The bed looked immaculate and turned out to be very comfortable. Went out early to dine in the village, then came back in... More

Stayed for one night on a cycling trip along the canal. Very friendly and welcoming with wonderful garden to sit out in. Very attractive and comfortable room. Bikes stored securely without problem. Recommended.

It may not look great from the outside front but inside and at the back it is wonderful, fantastic rooms, wonderful warm welcome from Linda and Trevor who could not have been more friendly. At the back, the house backs onto the beautiful old mill pond with a stunning garden and decked bank for fishing - rods and bait supplied... More

I arrived at Ty Aven after a long day cycling along the Brest/ Nantes ship canal. I was immediately made welcome by Linda West who gave me an enormous ensuite bedroom with a modern TV and for the first time in France (for me) British/ American satellite programmes. I spent an enjoyable evening in the village which had a reasonable... More

Recently stayed here for one night when driving around Brittany . It was freezing ( January ) but when we were shown to our room and got settled in, the cold out side was irrelevant .For a week we had been given croissants for breakfast so it was a real treat to take advantage of Lindas full english breakfast for...
