An incredible experience. Denise and her team run this hotel with genuine passion. Can't recommend Hotel Castello di Sinio highly enough. The restaurant is also superb. We stayed for a long weekend, but wished we could have stayed longer!

Everything about our stay - from the welcome as we arrived, to the care & service from all the staff throughout, the beauty & decor of the hotel, to the delicious homemade food (& even the resident cats!) - was absolutely outstanding! We spent 3 nights & loved every second of it - we were so comfortable, relaxed & well... More

Hotel Castello di Sinio is perfectly located for exploring the Barolo wine region. At the top of the town of Sinio, this former castle has been transformed into a luxury hotel, with unique rooms and excellent service. From the moment we made our reservations to the moment we checked out, Denise made sure to answer all of our questions and... More

Charming, meticulous attention to detail, utterly relaxing and completely authentic Italy. Denise is an amazing proprietress and chef! The Castello and grounds are enchanting. The location is perfect to explore the region. Denise and staff graciously will arrange whatever you desire to do. Every room is different and fantastically appointed. My husband and I spent 2 nights here to explore the wine country. I was impressed with the detail on the web site before we even arrived. It provided us with a comprehensive listing of the region's wineries, and we booked one of the recommended guides (Silvia Aprato - delightful) and a driver for a full day. Our chapel suite... More

What an amazing job of converting an old castle on a hill overlooking the main piazza of this small town into a genuinely luxurious hotel. We were there in August and it was hotter than usual for Piemonte, but the hotel was as cool as can be. Our room was very comfortable. Denise is a transplanted American with seemingly endless... A luxurious and charmingly restored medieval castle from which to sample the delights of the Barolo region, whether wine, food, villages or history - or all! The staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms extremely comfortable and the restaurant is top class. When you have had enough of exploring, relax in the shaded terraces or by the pool. Right... We had the pleasure of staying at the Castello for 3 wonderful nights. As noted in previous reviews, the greeting was welcoming and the prosecco cold and delicious. Denise and her fantastic staff were not only welcoming but informative. I should note, that previous reviews have not been happy about the policy of “no wine in the rooms”. Well, she... More

We just spent 5 nights at this incredibly charming and unique hotel and didn't want to leave! Owner and chef Denise Pardini and her staff are unusually personal, attentive, and as available as you need-- they have thought of everything to ensure that guests are treated with incredible care and comfort. Denise regularly went the "extra mile" to suggest and... More

Our stay at Castello di Sinio was a wonderful experience. Five nights were simply not enough! Our room was a true oasis of beauty, charm and tasteful decor. The two room/two bath suite provided every amenity, inclusive of espresso machine, hot pot, stocked mini bar, excellent air conditioning , big bright windows with colorful flowers and stunning views of the...
