We stayed (3 adults and a child), 2 nights in April 2015. I slept in the comfortable double room and my brother and family in the family room. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. My niece enjoyed the playground and feeding the chicken. Sam and Clive are very welcoming hosts. And we loved the breakfast.

We stayed in the family room for 2 nights in March 2015 with our 2 young children (4 yrs old and 9 months). We found the accommodation excellent for our family including little unexpected extras such as toys, DVD's and baby equipment. It was comforting to know that our children were welcome and catered for. Sam and Clive were very... More

We stayed for 2 nights in August of 2014. The owners were very helpful in cancelling our expensive boat trip (as they knew it would not run because of bad weather) and telling us of a great place to go see seals. We had a lovely room with a comfy bed for parents and bunk bed for kids. There were... More

We stayed 2 nights at Garalapin House while we toured the Isle of Skye. This is a homey, older farm house with nice views of the sheep in the field, and a big playground for children. Our room was clean and comfortable, and Sam and Clive do a wonderful full Scottish breakfast. They were friendly, helpful hosts.

We stayed 2 nights in this lovely farm house. The room was big and comfortable for us: 2 adults and 2 children. The breakfast was extraordinary: all the things what you need for a good breakfast to start the day. The position was very strategical: 2 km from Portree in a wonderful context - farm animals, cows and sheeps, which... More

We stayed for three nights with Sam and her Family during our stay in Portree last year. The house and the surrounding garden is beautiful and quiet (except sheep, hen and some horses, of course). Especially for children, there are a lot of space and things to play with in the garden. We felt very welcome and enjoyed our stay,... More

We had 3 nights here in August, stopping off on the way to Uig for the ferry. Sam and Clive were very welcoming, and the family room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfasts included a good choice and Sam was very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and days out, and supplied maps and midge repellent. We've already recommended the B&B to... More

Lovely location only a couple of miles out of Portree up a single-track road with sheep and cows as the main traffic but felt genuinely rural as a result. Very welcoming hosts. The double room is not huge but has everything we needed. The hotwater bottle as well as extra blankets is a nice touch. No coffee in our room... More

Thanks for your review. So sorry about the coffee, an error on my part!! Glad you enjoyed the peaceful location and breakfasts.
