This hostel is one of the cheapest accommodations in Maresias. Althought you get cheaper and better quality hostels around the world thinking about Brazil this can be considered a good cost benefit option. The best thing about it is it's location - you will be in the heart of Maresias close to restaurants and night clubs. Points for improvement are... More

this is surely one of the best hihostels in Brazil - maybe of the world. Very helpful and responsible staff, very nice decoration and furniture, very clean... If you are backpacker you´ll be in paradise. If you want to enjoy the night clubs, you´ll be near them and will have mates do go together, easily. These kind of people woudn´t... More

Pousada San Sebastian is a great hostel for people that want to stay in a place close to the beach and also pay a cheap price. Definitely, the hostel is situated in the "heard" of Maresias, the best bar and also the best club are just few steps from the hostel. The staff are very helpful and the breakfast is... More

Ok so I stayed here a couple of years ago but still have great memories as it was on my first trip to Brazil. The hostel had a nice pool to chill out in and is a stones throw from the beach. Our room had a four poster bed in it and was good standard for hostels. The lobby has... More

Situation: I've just got back from this hostel. I went there with my girlfriend to spend a holiday. When we got there, we were very disappointed. Although the staff was very good, so was the breakfast, the room was really bad, and the hostel itself and the surroundings were all noise 24h a day. Details: The room had not even... More

Definitely, Maresias is not a good place to relax on holidays and weekends! It´s a destination where night life is very famous. There are many restaurants, discos and bars surrounding the Maresias Hostel, and the noise is unavoidable. Most of our guests come to Maresias to enjoy it. On the other hand, week days and wintertime are absolutely quiet and... More

we spent only one night here, but you could see that is a well run hostel. Great value for our money. Eggs in the breakfast menu would be nice.

This hostel feels different from a lot of other hostels we stayed at in Brazil that are mostly packed with international backpackers. San Sebastian, however, was full with Brazilians. Families with kids and young Brazilians created a really nice atmosphere. Even though there is language barrier people tried to have conversations with us the whole time. The kitchen was very... It was our first time at São Paulo state coast. We could never imagine São Paulo had such beautiful beaches. Maresias is one of the most visited because the sea is excellent for surfers and they offer nice places to go out. One of the most famous dancing clubs of São Paulo state is located in Maresias. All of these... More
