Cozy, friendly staff, clean. I love the Scandinavian covers in the beds. Very well located. Breakfast with the widest variety of breads, cereal, fresh wild straberries, smoked salmon, cheeses. Good coffee. No swetener.

The room was OK, but not more than that. The pillows were bad and the bathroom ordinary. The breakfast was average, and in the evening the restaurant was only open between 6 and 8 p.m., You had to eat the one and only main course from the kitchen - no choices at all! This Danish hotel on the quaint island of Aero is comfortable and the food is excellent at breakfast and the restaurant in the evening was good although no choices. The service was outstanding as they provided us extra pillows and a hair dryer. We felt very welcome.

This is a course/conference hotel from the 70'ies but is well maintained and partly updated. It is however located "in the middle of nowhere" - perhaps 20 minutes walking from the Marstal "city center" and the arrival of the ferry. Very inconvenient at arrival and departure. The hotels website uses the words such as "exclusive, topmodern, good night sleep, cosy, good food, night club, etc..." Unfortunately we didn't experience any of them. "Exclusive" in this hotel means, that nothing is inclusive, you even have to pay to see the normal TV-programs! I've been to many, many hotels around the world and this was the first hotel... More
