I´m not really the type of person who writes reviews, but just returning from this wonderfull island and reading the last reviews on this site, made me a bit sad. I do not know in which type of hotels these people normally stay, but for those people still doubting whether or not to go to Turtle beach, I´ll recommend reading... More

Tobago was brilliant but the staff at the Turtle Beach were not. We found the hotel to be extremely basic and the staff extremely rude, they never seemed to smile and were most unhelpful. Apparently they are the worst paid employees of any of the hotels on the island and this was reflected in there attitude. We were staying at... More

We arrived from the UK early in the evening to be greeted by the friendly staff and a v.strong rum punch. The room was OK, dated in need of a refurbishment, but it had all the basic requirements and was clean. The view and situation from the room was suberb, the Caribbean sea right on your doorstep. Facilities at the... More

Just got back from a one week stay at Turtle Beach, we arrived around 4ish in the afternoon & met by rum punches, very good stuff! think was possibly a distraction from the fact no rooms were ready, waited a good couple of hours. Eventually got a room on the ground floor which smelt of damp as soon as you... More

Having read a lot about this hotel on various websites I was kinda worried about what to expect when we got there..... Thankfully it was nowhere near as bad as a lot of reviews would have you think. I can only presume that those people have booked up without actually checking up what they are going to get. Dont expect... More

The hotel is great if you like a laid back fun time to enjoy nature friendly local and lots of sun the food is wonderful especially the wide array of fresh fruits and variety of nightly buffets and nightly entertainment. We arrived at approx 7.30 p.m. local time Saturday night on 12th August after delays due to baggage restrictions at Gatwick feeling tired and weary. We checked in and after having our all inclusive bracelets (like hospital tags) attached to our wrists, reception called a porter to carry our cases to the accomodation allocated to us. Unfortunately "our" porter was... More

We are a family of 4 who've just spent one week at the Turtle Beach, Tobago. We booked 2 superior rooms which meant we were on the second floor, had a fridge and a TV which only picked up 2 channels if you were lucky. The rooms were clean and comfortable and maid service was very good. One night severel... More
