I had the pleasure of revisiting this fantastic hotel with a group of 20 other people, we do these type of overnights on a regular basis and this gem of a hotel would be hard to beat on all counts. The staff were so helpful, courteous, and attentive it felt like we were in a 5* hotel. The food was... More

My husband and I and extended family have just stayed at the Darnley Lodge where we all agreed that the staff were just absolutely amazing and couldn't have done more for us - completely faultless. They went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed but more importantly, did things that we hadn't asked or expected such... More

I recently had my hen party in Athboy. We stayed at the Darnley Lodge and went to Causey farm for our activity. The whole experience was amazing and I had the best weekend ever. The staff at the Darnley lodge contributed hugely to this, they were fantastic. The food was also top notch. Highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at the Darnley Lodge Hotel overnight before heading to Dublin airport the next day and found it to be the most wonderful hotel. Our room was fabulous, incredibly spacious and luxurious. We found the staff incredibly accommodating. The food was delicious too. A big thank you to Hazel and David for a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

I found myself in Athboy at lunch time Friday . So I popped into The Darnley for a spot of lunch. I had only entered the food area when a most pleasant man greeted me and said the chef would be along in a minute and as I waited a second person asked was I looked after. The chef carved... More
