After nearly 5 weeks travelling around Thailand and Indonesia my girlfriend and I decided we would treat ourselves to a bit of romantic luxury before heading home. Boy did we find it at the Hill Villas! I can quite honestly say this is the most beautiful accomodation I've ever stayed in, EVER (and I've stayed in ALOT of 5-star hotels)... more

What a great stay! The Hill Villas was an amazing destination, not on the beaten path but not so far off the beaten path it was hard to get around... beautiful accommodations, friendly-prompt-responsive staff and such a relaxing location... We stayed here for one week in the Cempaka, two bedroomed villa and enjoyed it tremendously. It was thirteen years since my last visit to Bali and the island has changed dramatically from a must-visit place to a throbbing mass of humanity, especially in the south of the island. I stayed in the Hill Villas Bali with freinds in 2008, I have lived in Jakarta for 2 years and have stayed in a wide range of hotels and villas in Bali, in kuta, seminyak, ubud, sanur, legian and jimbaran so have a seen a good cross section of accomodation in bali from cheap affordable acomodation to 5 star hotels... more
