We ate here recently on a Sunday following our desertion from another local establishment whose service plummeted to the point we felt we should no longer grace them with our custom and I have to say we were very pleased. I had the lamb rump, which is not the cheapest Sunday choice, but well worth it. Attentive service, good atmosphere,... More

Had Sunday lunch at the Seymour Arms Blagdon. Lovely location, good service and the slow cooked beef was superb. The pork dish was belly pork so was not as good as a tradition roast leg. There was only one slight drawback and that was the meal was not piping hot. In fact it was quite disappointingly cold. If only it... More

Stayed in October for three nights, ideally located for exploring Bath, Bristol, Wells and Cheddar. Great staff. Very clean and comfortable rooms but could do with more drawer space. Top quality food in the resturant both in the evening and breakfast time, i would definately stay there in the future.

From start to finish excellent... refurbished is an understatement it has a new breath of life from rooms to fabulous quality food and great menu to the great friendly staff. Rooms all entered from seperate entrance to pub which is great. Spotlessy clean contemporary decor and quality linen. Far exceeded our expectations. We will definitely return. Its also still a... Stayed 2 nights in August and thought it was very nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was lovely and clean with a comfy double bed and our dog was allowed with no hassle at all. We ate in the bar both nights, although that was the limit really as there weren't many veggie/fish options. Had... More

we booked a triple room for 3 nights for the beginning of august. As far as I understand the Seymour Arms has recently done refurbishment (or new management?), and we were told they have only been open as a B and B for a few months. This may explain why they are aware that they still have things to add... More

We stayed here for 1 night because we were running late getting to Minehead..Taking into consideration it was 10.55 when we arrived the lady owner was very good/kind she showed us to our room(only room left was the premium) so we were told cost £105 she let us have a drink in the bar she hadn't got any food so... Rooms small and cramped, food straight from Brakes Brothers, and poor beer. And right on a busy main road with lorries thundering past all night long. Very over priced for what it is. Very poor value and the staff were far from pleasant with one bar maid in particular very rude to another customer, definitely would'nt go here again

I stayed here mid week in October as I was attending a course at Coomb Lodge. It really was a home away from home. Lovely and clean and comfy. What puts it above other b&b's I have stayed at is - the food (delicious breakfast and the ribs I had for dinner were melt-off-the-bone tender and juicy) and the service.... More

We stayed for two nights in the Seymour Arms as we were attending a friend's wedding nearby. We had a wonderful stay, and really could not fault the place. We took a bus from Bristol Temple Meads, which dropped us off literally outside the door of the Seymour Arms, so whilst it is in the middle of nowhere in beautiful... More
