Stopped at this pub when our hire car suffered a puncture. We returned with a replacement car and stayed here overnight. We had a room with a double bed and another with bunks, tastefully furnished with wooden furniture. With breakfast the cost was GBP 110. Excellent dinner. Just a few miles from Bristol airport. Pub owner helped us with our... More

I've stated twice at the Seymour as it's convenient to Chew and Blagdon lakes for fishing. The rooms are good, well appointed, clean and modernised. The bar is a place without atmosphere, devoid of locals, basic furniture and 'wine bar' like. The food choice in the evening was limited, burgers etc. I had a lamb fillet dish which was pretty... We tried three other pubs locally and all turned us away as food stopped at 2.30/3pm. We found The Seymour Arms and were welcomed even with a Muddy Dog. Seven of us had great service great beer/cider and excellent food.

Stayed for wedding at Coombe Lodge just down the road. Very friendly welcome in the bar and the hotel room was immaculate. At Breakfast was greeted by very friendly member of the team and breakfast was cooked to order and was faultless. Highly recommend this little gem in Blagdon.

We stayed at The Seymour Arms for four nights last week, with our dogs Hugo and Honey. It was very close (10 minutes) to Langford Vets which is one of the reasons we chose it. Check in was very simple, you go to the bar. The accommodation has a separate entrance at the rear of the building. We stayed in... More

Having been turned away from another pub (they closed the kitchen early as they'd been busy!) we stumbled upon the Seymour Arms. Warm welcome for a couple of hot sweaty walkers and their dogs here and delicious freshly cooked food. Friendly service in a cool, uncluttered, comfortable atmosphere.

Great little pub serving lovely food. I like the fact that the children's menu was just reduced sizes of adult choices, not a chicken nugget in sight which is great! We all loved the food, tasty and good value. Fantastic waitress too, friendly and professional.

We have eaten here frequently and have never been disappointed. Last night 6 of us had a super meal. I highly recommend the sea bass with mussels - probably the best sea bass I've ever had, with the scrummiest of sauces; so scrummy, in fact, that we had to order extra bread to mop it up with as it was... Very dog friendly establishment, which was the main reason for booking in. Menu is very good , no food or bar on Monday . Contemporary feel to the bar/restaurant and room . Clean, well presented bright room with great view of Blagdon Lake and surrounding area. Plumbing a little noisey , which depends on what time other guests or oneself... More

Cracking location in a small village in the Mendip Hills and a short drive to Cheddar. A great spot for walking with the nearby lake at the bottom of the village and the spectacular church a few hundred metres away. The double room I stayed in was huge and the breakfast and dinner I had were excellent quality. The Inn... More
