A quick 1 night stop at Malandela's which I really enjoyed. The family room is nice and big, a bit rustic, clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed the lively restaurant where we had dinner. Grounds are very pleasant and great little shops around to bring back souvenirs. Breakfast was good and the staff was very nice.

We stayed here for 1 night. The place looks very nice and is definitely worth a visit. The rooms are spaceous and the breakfast was good. There is also a restaurant on the property which has very good meals. Ideal place for 1 stop! We haven't seen lot of the environment but both Ezulwini and Malkerns valley are nearby,

Stayed here for just one night while passing through Swaziland. The grounds and gardens are pretty spectacular, most unexpected and lovely for enjoying a Sundowner. The rooms were average - fine for a night but the bathroom left a lot to be desired. Food in the restaurant was poor (West African curry was actually inedible, but we were not offered... More

What a lovely place to recover from long days of bumping along rutted dirt roads visiting artisans. The restaurant and bar next to Malandela's is frequented by locals making for interesting and insightful conversations. The B&B is furnished with products from the local artisans--it's simple but beautiful. Best of all is taking a short walk out the door and entering... More

We were booked into Malendela's and told that we would find it a bit quirky. Our room was on the ground floor and we were very happy with it. There was a heater and fan so we felt our needs re heat/cooling were taken care of, twin beds were very comfortable and there was a good window seat with cushions... More

Stayed here about three times and all three times the stay was brilliant. Love the staff here and the breakfast is really great. Excellent value for money and with the Malendelas restaurant next door it's prefect. Always ask which rooms are available as all the rooms are differ net in character and style. Always ask if their credit card machine... More

Lovely B&B with very nice staff and beautiful gardens. Everyone was very helpful and I really enjoyed my stay. However, the cleanliness was a big issue - I had endless amounts of bugs, insects, spiders and cockroaches in my room and the sheets did not get changed once during my stay (I stayed there for quite a long time). These... More

Myself and the rest of my World Challenge team camped out in the grounds of Malandela's one night during our expedition, after All out Africa messed up some of the logistics of the trip. We had a meal at the restaurant which was very good value. The food and service was night, however, in traditional African style maybe the cleanliness... More

We stayed here on the recommendation of friends who used to live nearby and visited House On Fire regularly. After a long time in the car, it was the perfect place to unwind, especially as they have a pool. We ate at the pub in the complex and loved the food. The shops are also great; we had to stop... Overall a good option for budget travelers. We liked: 1. Ben, the B&B manager was very helpful and professional 2. The breakfast - two options - English breakfast or a yogurt and muesli covered with organic local honey and corn muffin - we ate both days the yogurt and it was delicious and healthy, 3. The gardens.- what beautiful gardens... More
