This hotel offers good, very clean accommodation. The grounds of the complex are immaculately maintainted and the staff are all very polite, most speak good English. The rooms were large and very clean, all had a spacious balcony. I would recommend asking for a quiet room away from the large swimming pool which can be noisy at times. The food... More

Room: Big and clean enough but VERY dated - not exactly luxury 4 star - also could hear EVERYTHING from next door rooms, upstairs and corridor Pool: Clean, nice, there is supposed to be a quieter one but you can hear music blaring out all over Animation team very enthusiastic - lots going on for kids and Italian (and German)... If it rained there was absolutely nothing to do & the nearest village was 10km away. The gardens were immaculate & the staff very friendly in most cases.Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The entertainment was aimed at children even during the evening with a lot of shouting & childlike actions by the irritating animation team. The food was extremely boring, hardly any Italian food apart... Now called Rocco Nettuno Garden (not to be confused with the nearby Rocco Nettuno Tropea), this is an excellent place for a summer family break. Fantastic pools, a lovely walk through a pine "forest" to a pebbly beach, clean though basic rooms, and good eating options. The restaurants: these have come in for criticism on other reviews: we don't agree... More

I've read the posts given by guests staying at about the same time we were there and these have saved a lot of time in writing this review. The frothy red wine, absolutely no excuse for this in Italy, the dismissive reception, e3 for Magnuim or Cornetto, again no excuse in Italy for having only these icecreams. However, the resort... We have recently returned from the Rocco Nettuno Garden near Pizzo, Calabria after a very enjoyable fortnight’s stay. We arrived on May 21st, and the weather wasn’t brilliant for the first week, it rained on three days at the hotel, but only on one in the second week. Reception is basic, but does the job. The accommodation is spread over... More

The resort is located in a very beautiful part of Italy and if you get the chance to get out of the resort to visit local towns do it! The resort is very popular with our German cousins, so most staff speak German but there are some English speaking staff. The package we paid for was a standard AI but... More
