We stayed here for 3 days while exploring Phuket Town. They have big, clean, quiet rooms, a nice pool and helpful staff. It's off the main drag but very quiet. It's within walking distance to the Old part of the city and streets with traditional 'Shophouse' architecture. They have small kitchenettes, but not very useful for meals, which doesn't matter... This seems like a good place to stay for extended trips if you had business to do in Phuket old town, Old town was a quick walk away. Unfortunately I was here for just one night and that night everything seemed dead. Most of old town was closed and there seemed to be barely anything open. That made it difficult... More

We've stayed here two separate times for one month each, and loved each so much that we wish this could be a yearly destination. Its location in Phuket Town is practically unbeatable, with access to Old Town and the weekly walking street festival, markets, cheap transport to the beaches and other parts of the island, etc. The design is very... This is an excellent hotel for exploring old Phuket town. We were tired of the whole beach scene in Thailand and wanted to explore more of the local life. Like all the other reviews state here, the rooms are spacious, the shower is great and you get a microwave and fridge. The standout feature was that the "minibar" charges were... More

For the price paid, the Cost Performance is excellent. The room is big, clean, nicely furnished with a microwave, fridge, electric kettle and sink. They provided 2 bottles of drinking water and there is a pool. And of course free WIFI. It is within the old Phuket Town, across the road from Indy Market, a few steps from Raya Restaurant.... More

We stayed at Baan Suwantawe following the Rough Guide's recommendation and we were really impressed. The hotel is well appointed and within easy walking distance to great restaurants and a short taxi ride to the harbour for ferries to Phi Phi etc. We found the rooms massive and very well maintained, spotlessly clean and the bathrooms were large and modern....
