Stayed over one night before going Rassada Pier to Phi Phi Island. The Sinthavee Hotel, Phuket now offers accommodation at its 9-storey facilities, located in the heart of the Phuket Town. The room is furnished and completed with central air-conditioning, wall-to-wall carpeting, refrigerators, private bathrooms with a bathub and shower but the wall is dirty and furnitures are old, plus... This is one of the older hotels in central Phuket town and it's age is beginning to show. I use the hotel when having a night out on the tiles to avoid driving home after too many sherries so have stayed in a number of different rooms, on different floors. In general the rooms are basic and comfortable with tv... More

The fasçade looked quite decent. The lobby seemed kinda big with a grand staircase but the rooms seemed to be in another building. We arrived past midnight and once we got our key we had to passed what seems like an eerie hallway with abandoned shops. Waiting for the elevator at the hallway gave me chills and when we arrived... For the price we paid, this was a great stay in a third world country. We had air conditioning, warm showers, and clean(ish) rooms. The hotel staff changed the linens daily and kept our bathrooms clean, however, the room itself was a bit dingy from use over the years. The online site says that there is a pool, but they actually... More

Two of us stayed here after arriving on a nighttime flight, so props for being open late. Our air conditioning, tv, and hot shower worked a treat, and it is in the centre of town. However the bed was super solid, and the room smelt pretty damn stale. So for 500B, it's definitely very middle-road as a budget hotel.

For the start there was a gigantic dead cockroach in the bath. Stinky bed and pillows- it was discussing to sleep in a bed that apart from clean bedsheets was filthy and dirty. The stink was very strong. We ended up using our bags and pillows and sleeping bag linen. The smell of cigarettes from the bed, pillow and matterace.... More

If anyone is reading this- do not go here! I have stayed in hotels and hostels around the globe and have never felt as concerned for my life as I have here. I wish we stayed in there long enough to take pictures but we were so terrified that we didn't have time to. This hotel looks great as you... More

This is absolutely the worst hotel I've ever stepped foot it. I have backpacked for 5 years so am pretty used to basic accomodation but this is next level! We were actually terrified just walking to our rooms, the reviews that say this place is something out of a horror movie are bang on the money. The room itself smelled... More

I stayed here with my boyfriend as a stopover after coming back from Phi Phi. After leaving there I didn't think anywhere could be as bad but how wrong was I! The lady who checked us in didn't know where our room was and sent us to the wrong floor. We had to try different floors until we found it.... More

We arrived at Phuket unprepared and without wifi and really just wanted something cheap and okay in the old town center quickly so we could easily proceed our travels the next day. Stupidly enough we accepted help from the tourist desk at the airport. For some unexplainable reason we accepted and paid him right away. The pictures looked nice so... More
