I was on few business trips to phuket and found that Royal Phuket City was cheap and good. Wifi internet access is available in the hotel but only available at 14th level and above. Please get a room above 14th if not, you would landed up reading emails at the hotel lobby just like what my colleagues did staying on... more

Has the feel of a business hotel but then then again Phuket Town is not a typical tourist spot - we only stayed after ferry back from phi phi to wait for our flight in the morning. Very friendly, helpful staff made our stay here a pleasure. Lovely lobby area and coffee shop and the most unbelievable fitness area/gym I have seen in any hotel ever! Nice simple lap pool, comfortable seating and very clean. Nice rooms, my bed was a little hard, but this was something I endured throughout Asia, the beds are generally very firm.... more
