got a junior suite - pictures on website are very far from what you get. Friendly staff indeed but that cares more if you want a young girl for massage than the cleanliness of the bathroom... breakfast is a disaster. But you get what you paid for - 80 euros a night in the middle of phuket town - far... More

We had booked "New Pearl Room" and were placed on floor 11 (of 12). A really modern new room, large, window to open, build-in quite AC, fantastic bathroom. Clean! The hotel is not really new but it seems a while ago it was the leading hotel in town. They have sumptuous decorations in the loby and restaurant and bar area.... More

Almost in the center of Phuket Town, is Pearl Hotel. An old hotel with great restaurant with live music. Massage on the second floor. Fine views of Phuket Town. In the distance you can see the Big Buddha. Many of the rooms have been nicely renovated. An ok place to stay if you are not for beach and sea.

I had rated this hotel last year, when it was not good. It has become terrible since! Our room had flaking paint everywhere so bad we did not put our clothes on any shelf until we lined the shelf with plastic, which we went out and bought. The walls have panels falling down, both inside and outside the rooms. The... More

The hotel is everything but definitely not near the Phuket airport. Actually it is located right in the middle of Phuket town - 31km from Phuket airport. Otherwise very old school but clean. We are just furious about the location.

We stayed in Pearl Hotel in Jan 2014 for one night. The hotel seems not-so-good from the outside wich fooled us but as we got in we noticed that the hotel is well kepted chinese styled hotel. We had a floor to floor carpet even we asked a room without it. The rooms have no balcony, wich i cannot recall... More

I've been here while Vegetarian's festival in Phuket. The hotel is located near a clock tower in the center of the Town. The building and room seem a bit old and small but it's not that bad. I can see a clock tower from my room and that was wonderful because I can see firework in the night. The staffs... More

I was to stay in Phuket town centre for 5 weeks on (a study trip) not pleasure. Went into reception and advised no internet access in the bedrooms. Internet access vital to me whilst studying. You should know this. Location 5 minutes walk from bus station to the airport and only 10 minutes from Robinsons department store which I think... More

Pearl Hotel is an eye catcher. This is a tall, elegant building with western style access ways, doors and doormen, shiny lights in the night time. Staff is friendly and helpful. Welcoming fruit platter is a nice addition to the services. The view from the room is quite nice and the room itself is just the right size. The price... More

The Pearl must have been a real looker in her day, but age has not treated her well. She could stand for a complete makeover, but when you are new to town, she might catch your eye on a dark, rainy night. And that is how I discovered the Pearl Hotel. The large, bright sign was a beacon to the... More
