I have spent 2 months in the Happy Elephant resort and will recommend it to everyone. I like everything about the place. I changed two rooms and slept like a baby in both. And unlike other places I had no insects there except gecko. But I think most of all I was impressed by the management who is extremely nice,... More

Hi there, a quick review as Im leaving 'The Happy Elephant Resort'. My husband and my 9 year old daughter stayed here for 3 weeks in May/June 2014, and what a Fantastic choice, we made. Clean, well maintained, small bungalow's around the beautiful pool, so when we were inside, we could see our daughter, playing happily. Location, perfect, we hired... More

Recently we have spent a week here in a pool side villa. The place is fantastic, very clean, spacious, nice swimming pool. Andrea, the owner and his family live on the premises and he is one of the most hospitable people we ever came accross in Thailand. He went out of his way to make our stay as great as... More

Well worth investigating for a relaxing stay. Large rooms and decent shower, lovely pool,(and although there seems insufficient loungers for the number of rooms, we never failed to have a choice!!) Go for the all inclusive breakfast (140 bht or free with some internet sites), .....stunning value, and faultless. The staff were a real bonus.......just lovely. 10 mins bike ride... More

The Happy Elephant is the most peaceful, most relaxing, best run resort in my two months in Thailand. It is centrally (and ideally) located directly between Rawai Beach and Nai Harn beach. Both beaches are wonderful that they each have their own unique personalities. My room was big, airy, bright and clean. I slept every night with the window open... More

I'm one week into my month here at The happy Elephant, and absolutely love it! I originally booked this for just myself, so was a wee bit worried it wouldn't be big enough when my sister in law moved in with me for a few days when I arrived-but that was not the case at all - plenty of room... More

Firstly, its nowhere near Phuket town so I don't know why its listed as such. Kitchenette consists of 2 hot rings and a microwave and a huge fridge and you have to pay for electric and that costs about 10USD per week if you run the AC a bit. The pool is long enough to do laps in and plenty... More

I stayed here while training Muay Thai on the same road, 2 mins away. Value for money is excellent. Very nice rooms, clean and comfortable with a balcony, wifi and cable tv. It can be a little noisy at night as everyone parks there scooters outside the rooms. Earplugs will sort this out though! It is a small hotel so... More

We stayed at the Happy Elephant in November last year. The staff were really friendly and helped with our onward travel arrangements. The room was nice and clean. It is a bit far from the beach but the pool is a nice alternative in the heat. We met some really nice people whilst staying here. Would definitely stay again.

I stayed here while i was training at Rawai Muay Thai for about a month. It is very convenient for the gym - has a lovely little restaurant opposite, and a great pool. It is small enough that even when it is full, it is not too busy. The people were really friendly, and the rooms really clean and perfect... More
