we visited hundreds of hotel reviews before travelling to thailand and althought the alpina had mixed reviews we chose it. i'm not sure why there are any negative points as it was AMAZING. friendly, polite and warm service, well appointed rooms, beautiful pool, great bars and restaurant and removed from teh ratrace of the beachfront so it was completely relaxing.... more
