Have just spent another 26 days at Kata Blue Sea Resort, and it really feels like coming home The receptionist remembered us imidiately and we were welcomed with big smiles and warm hugs. It is still a pleasure to be there. And this will be our no.1 hotel in Kata, and we have tried quite a few during 15 years.

We were staying there for 8 nights. Hotel is situated in a quite,peaceful area of Kata, so you can hide from street noise and a hanging around tourists. Takes 5 min walk to center, 10 to the beach. Newish small family run hotel, very friendly and helpful staff, room was good, very clean, daily linen change, good shower, however my room had no view whatsover other than a metal fence!! apparantly hotel was built too close to other properties and they had to erect the fence re privacy.
