Me and my parter have decided to go travelling for the next year...at least so have been after good location, clean accommodation for low prices! Arrival: we arrived on a late flight from Singapore arriving around 9pm. The hotel do not offer a pickup service so we jumped in a taxi costing 300 which is about £6. This was more... More

I stayed in a bamboo hut for 4 nights here as it was cheap and close to the airport. I got used to just using the fan and I had no problem with the noise at night. It was lovely, different and better than the reviews suggest! Staff were very friendly and a nice little menu at the restaurant. Beach... More

We stayed from 14th - 20th December 2013 after spending a couple of nights in Bangkok as part of our 2 month stay in Thailand. I had visited NaiYang in 1999 when there was nothing but beach. This time there were lots of restaurants on the beach and it was really lovely to see this especially at night when all... More

We booked this hotel weeks in advance for a 2 night stay as we wanted somewhere on the beach. When we arrived they told us they had over booked and they didn't have a room for us. They put us in another hotel miles away from the beach in a terrible room that looked like it was someone's garage. They... More

Stayed here for one night after a flight. We’d booked a bamboo beach hut but were double booked so ended up in an AC room for the same price. Was nice enough. Clean. Bamboo huts looked good though – a few were set together around loads of tropical plants, so wish we’d stayed there instead! The reviews complaining this place... More

We stayed just for a night before catching an early flight. Accommodation was basic, but clean and comfortable, with an outdoor bathroom. (Had to ask for toilet paper). Free water provided and shampoo which was good. The bed is just a mattress on the floor but was comfy, I was having a good sleep until I got woken up by... More

I stayed here with my girlfriend for one night as we were getting an early flight the next day. We stayed in a bamboo hut and it was extremely basic the worst I have stayed in on my travels the bathroom was not good. The noise levels in the accomodation was terrible and I think this was staff who were... More

It is recomended that you stay in this hotel only if you want to catch a early morning flight on next day. We were in Krabi and on next early morning we wanted to catch an early morning flight and hence we stayed in the hotel which is near to Phuket Airport. Dont go for Bamboo rooms at all. The... More

Cute little bamboo huts with nothing but a mattress, mosquito net and a fan if you are lucky. We were comfortable enough but wouldn't want to spend more than a few days in one. You can hear every peep from neighbouring huts. The locks one the doors are little tiny suitcase locks so security there isn't . A very safe... More

We were staying in Ruan Mai overnight before an early flight the next morning and for this purpose we were satisfied. It is very close and cheap to get to the airport. The accommodation was clean and very basic, and appropriate for one or two nights, but not many more. We stayed in a bamboo bungalow and it was sufficient;... More
