This is an oasis of luxury in the countryside near Bordeaux that manages to be relaxing and comfortable without being pretentious. There’s really nothing else nearby except vineyards, but that’s the point.

We had 5 rooms at this villa for two nights. The villa has been restored with an eclectic mix of styles blending old with modern in a way that works well. The setting is lovely among vineyards and stands of trees. The rooms and beds were well appointed and comfortable and stylish and Equipped with good quality fixtures. The restaurant... More

I found this hotel to be very well run and friendly. It felt more personal than larger hotels and considering the hotel wasn’t very busy the staff and management were very helpful. It was obvious that my colleague who has difficulty walking would not be able to stay in room 5 due to the inner stairs which are quite tricky... More

We have somewhat mixed feelings about this hotel. Upon our arrival on Saturday the reception was very good with adequate explanation and a tour around the hotel. Our room was nicely decorated and above all very clean. The airconditioning in the room did unfortunately not work and but it was expected to be repaired after the weekend on Monday (which... More

It was a magnificent hotel to stay and relax after a long and crazy year. The view was amazing and the staff kind, helpfull and friendly. The cook who cooked the dinner, which was ordered by the hotell was simply wonderful. They suprised us and made delicious foods for us to taste and eat. They were so nice during our... More

The chateau and grounds is magnificent in every way. We had a magnificent room away from the main building, and enjoyed using the pool in the grounds. Everything felt ultra exclusive. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was absolutely lovely. The evening meal was in a lovely setting - we were able to take it outside under... More

This property is fabulous! The chateau (main 1850's residence) has beautiful and comfortable common areas and a pool table; the dining room is also located here. There is plenty of outdoor dining space at the chateau as well. The pool area and pool house are an oasis and appointed with extremely comfortable furniture. The guest rooms, half of which are... This hotel is quite isolated, which we like and they advertised a great pounding restaurant; however it was loosed while we were there and we had to drive a half hour to the recommended restaurant ... A pizza place! The hotel told us there were no restaurants closer, which I find terribly hard to believe. We have been in France... More

Beautiful hotel in a very convenient location if you're planning to tour the region. The immediate surroundings are not very nice, there is what looks like a council estate a couple minutes drive away and no restaurants nearby. But you can drive to Bordeaux in 15 min if you don't want to dine at the hotel. We had a room... More

We stayed for 3 nights in September and this boutique country house hotel was all that I hoped for. The scene is set by the approach from the drive through the pillared gateway to the classically proportioned house with softly coloured limestone and shutters. The front door opens into a marble hallway scented with a huge vase of lilies and... More
