We made a last minute booking, but this didn't seem to cause any problem for James and Alice who were impeccably hospitable and friendly. The room was gorgeous, the bed comfortable, bathroom sparkling and well-equipped and the view stunning. We woke up feeling rested and were treated to a delicious breakfast with home-made jams and delicious fruit salad - as... More

Beautiful B&B close to Stratford-upon-Avon. Rooms are large and bed is very comfortable - all very clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast is presented with good variety (home made jam was excellent!). Alice and James are very welcoming. We came here to take in a Shakespeare play. It's not easy to find, as there is no sign on the road -... More

We stayed at Stamford Hall when attending a nearby wine tasting. The owners were very friendly and helpful; even to the extent of providing a taxi service when we were unable to book a local firm. Stamford Hall is an imposing building but also very homely and decorated with an eclectic art collection, ranging from traditional portraits to the owner's... More

There is little point in our repeating what has been said by the previous 3 reviewers. However.........a beautiful house in a beautiful part of Warwickshire with excellent hosts. Thoroughly recommend it.

My husband, mother and I stayed for two nights to explore Stratford, Warwick, and the Cotswolds. The location is excellent. The two adjacent rooms – located on the second floor – are eclectically furnished mixing antique and new pieces. We especially loved the artwork. The rooms were elegant and very comfortable. Upon arrival, Alice served us tea and biscuits in... More

Travelling with our 11 month old son, we found a warm and friendly welcome at Stamford Hall Farmhouse. The farmhouse is in a beautiful location and the rooms are well decorated, clean and comfortable. We were very impressed with the breakfast, made with local and home-made produce. It was a perfect base for discovering local villages and very convenient for... More

Stamford Hall is spacious, relaxing and civilised, with spectacular views of the Warwickshire countryside. James and Alice are caring and thoughtful hosts and our 2 day stay was everything we wanted it to be. If you are looking for somewhere that isn't in Stratford but is only a 10 minute drive, then Stamford Hall serves as a tranquil oasis with... More
