We had a most enjoyable week at Casa Pizote at La Finca Chica. It is beautiful and spotlessly clean. The outdoor living space allows you to enjoy the sights and sounds of the rain forest in all types of weather. We loved having a meal or cocktail while listening to the rain from our sheltered living/dining room. The casita is... More

We stayed 3 nights on our honeymoon in Casa Pizote (house #4) and LOVED it! It was very clean and free of bugs. We left the shutters open most nights and slept very peacefully. The only animal that crept in was a bat on our first morning, but it was oddly not alarming. We just let it flutter around and... More

this place is on a perfect location, near the seaside and in the middle of a jungle.Has the most beautiful plants and flowers, animals that you probably never saw as tepezcuincles, and the houses are secluded, beautifully built in wood and with everything that you might need to spend a great vacation, even wifi in the house and tv. But... More

We stayed in Casa #4, which I highly recommend. It was private and gorgeous-with a beautiful outdoor lounge area equipped with a hammock, a great, functional kitchen (a grocery store is less than a five minute walk away) and a clean, spacious bedroom with modern amenities. I felt like I was in the middle of the jungle and loved listening... More

I was very glad to find La Finca Chica in my research for our trip to the Caribbean side, as it made our stay memorably good. We stayed in the two-bedroom house (casa #3), and it was marvelous. Very comfortable and pleasing furnishings, a nice kitchen (we cooked a number of meals) and walking distance to some good spots. It's... More

We just returned from a few nights stay at La Finca Chica and couldn't have asked for anything better. When we arrived we learned that the cabinas were designed by a Spanish architect (the owner), and are really special! Setting: The bungalow/cabina we stayed in was so private and peaceful, yet it did not give you the scary feeling of... More

We stayed in Casita Chica for three nights - the house was very clean with big windows, comfortable bed (with mosquito net!), and nice bathroom. La Finca Chica is tucked away off the main road, and it's easy to feel like you could live there for a long time and be immersed in the culture/community. The sounds outside and frequent... More

Our stay at La Finca Chica was everything we hoped for and more. The pictures are accurate. What you see Is what you get. We never used or needed the mosquito netting above the bed. I believe it's there more to allay the fears of someone like me vacationing for the first time in the jungle. The only downside, which... More

We stayed in Casa Lagarto in October. The house was immaculately clean, well maintained and is stocked with everything you could need. There were 3 other homes for rent on the property but it was still so private and quiet, set in a beautiful garden surrounded by the jungle. We had daily housekeeping, very good internet access, great bikes for... More

We stayed in House 4 for nine days in October. The house was very clean and the grounds were well maintained. The wooden floors and furniture were just like the pictures - clean, smooth, not scratched or damaged. The caretaker took off his shoes before walking on the terrace floor. The cooking pots were stainless steel and nearly new condition.... More
