We wanted a new off-the-beaten-track family vacation this year. So we rented both Casa Colibri and Casa Mariposa in Caribe Town at Easter for a much needed getaway. What an amazing adventure! Our cabins were engulfed in the rainforest. Tucans, colorful tree frogs, howler monkeys, and a camera-shy watusa hung out within feet of our porch. Incredibly cool! Yet we... More

We stayed for three weeks and did not want to leave. Accommodations and staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great, close to great beaches, restaurants and other local activities. The grocery store and local farmers market were also a bike rude away.

It was a great place to stay when you wait to get away from the touristy kind of things. They are helpful and friendly on all aspects of my stay. I would go back and tell everyone to go there for a relaxing vacation.

Great place for relaxing with lots to do near by. Lovely grounds with exotic plants. Super breakfast. We relaxed and enjoyed this unique part of Costa Rica with its laid back Carib culture and many diverse restaurants. The beach is beautiful, extensive, and hardly used. Lots of places to walk to.

Caribe Town was a fun way to really connect with the natural surroundings of Costa Rica. My father and I went for a father daughter get away for 10days. Upon arriving at Caribe Town, we were both a little apprehensive about how closely we were connected to the elements and the jungle from our Casita. We weren't sure about sleeping... More

Caribe Town was a wonderful respite for us as we sort of went overboard on how much of the country we thought we could see in a week. After from coast to coast, we arrived at Caribe Town. The owner was very accomodating and made a good breakfast, included. We stayed in one of the houses, that was rather rustic,... More

Jess and Marc seemed to know what we needed before we asked. As a returning guest it was wonderful to see how much they have done to make the grounds and accommodations even more beautiful and comfortable. As before, we enjoyed the spectacular beach, just steps away - but coming back to the property made us just go ahhhhhhhh! Thanks,... More

we stayed here back in April 2013 after living in Panama for 6 months. The first thing you notice is the fantastic jungle gardens all around. I actually lol'd at the plant biodiversity the owner has created... the garden is so beautiful, impressive, clean and orderly. The central bar/pool/kitchen area is really really cool and unique. Importantly, the beds were... More

We're so glad you loved Caribe Town too! We have been hard at work including as many different species of indigenous plants possible and it is incredible with each new plant we add, the different types of butterfly, dragonflies, birds and animals that come to visit. Please come back soon and see how we keep improving! More

My boyfriend & I stayed in Caribe Town for 3 weeks in March & couldn't have found a better place for R&R. We stayed in Cabana #3 which was the most remote & perfect for us as we spent alot of time on the front porch listening to the jungle sounds which was awesome, especially the howler monkeys & birds.... We had a great time with you guys as well and are truly happy to have been able to provide the R&R you needed between your Northern growing seasons. Hopefully this becomes an annual thing, we would be thrilled to see you again next year during your low season!! Pura vida! More

My now fiancé and I (story to follow!) had the privilege of staying at Caribe Town for 10 days in late April and I can honestly say it was everything we had hoped for and more! The owners, Jessica and Marc, along with Carlos went above and beyond what was expected to ensure that our stay was perfect from beginning... More
