After recovering from the shock of entering white deep freezers doubling as hotel rooms we were won over by the warmth of the staff. On the second day, with the room temperature adjusted, we experienced the changing colours of Le Cameleon. The base white brightens the rooms which are surrounded by thick tropical foliage and is the backdrop for the... More

The area is fantastic with beaches and activities nearby. This was our first time on the Caribbean side of Costa Rica and we loved it! The hotel is modern and well appointed. They have a small beach area which we found to be private and well kept. Beach service as well. We observed many other hotels in the area which... More

When our travel agent told us that our original hotel had double booked us and was now kicking our reservation, I have to admit I was devastated. He told me that they had found a suitable replacement at a newer hotel and at this point I was just glad that we had an alternative for our honeymoon accommodations! When we... More

My new husband and I stayed here for 5 days in May - the first stop on our Honeymoon exploring Costa Rica. It is a beautiful hotel with lovely setting amongst tropical vegetation, not far from the beach. Rooms are clean and cool with air con and fans. The breakfast setting is beautiful, as is the pool setting, with humming... More

We stayed for 3 nights at Le Cameleon at the end of June with a special package rate and we had a great time! The room was spacious, clean and cool - great a/c. We loved the modern chic decor of the hotel and the color accents that changed each day. The pool area is peaceful and beautiful with the... More

I have been at Le Cameleon many times throughout out these years and it seems maintenance is not enough. It is understandable it is in the middle of the jungle but one would expect better upkeep from this luxurious concept. Ramps for handicaps and stroller urgently needed! Still the best hotel in the area.

Every one was helpful and very nice. The food was great and the breakfast was whatever you wanted to order. Beach club was handy for snacks and drinks when enjoying the beach. Rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. We stayed 5 nights during slow season so the rooms had special prices, with normal rates I think it is... More

I can't wait to go back and stay at Le Caméléon again. The hotel is within its own caliber in the region. The rooms, amenities and all the surroundings are contemporary and utterly comfortable. The entire hotel and its surrounding provide an atmosphere that is refreshing, impeccable, and is a true oasis in my book.

I had the pleasure of staying at Le Cameleon in may this year. This hotel has a real authentic Caribean atmosphere. Staff that are ready to serve you, and see that you are comfortable at all times. Local restaurants within walking distance, and village center withinn a few kilometers.

Best selection if you are looking for comfort and traditional hotel amenities. Rooms are comfortable, nice balcony to drink your coffee, air conditioning, big bath, all white room (even floor), color decoration changed daily (nice touch) and steps to beach.
