It's actually a large detached house with a wide gravel driveway that extends as a car park. The decor is more "traditional" with a nice worn homely feel, and we were greeted warmly by the proprietors. Although it does a good breakfast, the owner actually runs this as a secondary job, so expect breakfast between 7-8am (allowing them to do... More

We have just returned from a two night stay to visit friends. The house is full of character and very comfortable. Although there is only one bathroom between the six of us we managed, although there is a second W.C downstairs and the shower was great. Wendy and Sally made us very welcome they even bought in a particular breakfast... More

Beautifully presented, handsome house set in gorgeous grounds. Massive, elegant, well equipped bedrooms. State of the art, modern bathroom. The Old Curatage is crammed with period features and intriguing detail. The lady owners are charming generous, witty and hugely hospitable. Delightful, fascinating, fun personalities! Breakfast was very impressive with an array of freshly sliced fruits, a choice of yoghurts and... More

This is the second time I've stayed here and I've been really impressed both times. The two owners couldn't do enough to make our stay a good one and the house is gorgeous. For me though, the stand out points were a) the bed and the quilt (just call me princess!) and b) the full English breakfast. I didn't eat... More

I came across the old curatage online when looking for overnight stay for myself and grandad for an interview just down the road. We stayed just the one night in this beautiful bed and breakfast but perhaps one of the best quality b & b I have seen in a long time. Both rooms had plenty of room and everything... More

We stayed 3 nights at this small but excellent Bed and Breakfast situated in the stunning village of Caston, Norfolk. Our two rooms were beautiful and spacious, full of character and filled with lots of complementory amenities. The proprietors, Sally and Wendy did everything they could to make our stay feel welcome and comfortable, with nothing being too much trouble.... More
